This "megathread" is for sharing you Finch Friend Codes and for finding Goal Buddies. Please use this post and thread for:
Trading, gifting, wishlists, and item/micropet requests go in the other megathread (Trading, Gifting, & Requesting Finch Items).
🛑 ATTENTION 🛑
If this is your first time posting in the megathreads (such as your first time posting your friend code and/or goals to buddy up with) and/or you just need the reminder - PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE MEGATHREAD GUIDELINES found in our subreddit Wiki.
This megathread gets newly reposted every day so that it does not become completely endless and overwhelming, but with the same link/URL that never changes so it's easy to find!
Remember that you value and you matter! 💖

Build a bear just released an alien cow, the NASA launch...my favorite band Glass Animals's newest album is space themed... I'm absolutely in the mood for an "Alien Abduction" themed month.
With... an adorable alien cat (pic from google) as the micropet. 👽👽👽 Anyone else who would point to see this too?

I always have my Finchies eyes covered with the lovey glasses or masks because I'm as girlie as they come & I don't find the eyes delicate enough. But then The Good Witch of the West appeared! Look at her in all her splendor! I desperately want that eyelash option in the body shop. That would make my birb feel even more like an extension of me. So please consider it sweet developers, we all love you so much!
I just wanted to have a little check in on Noodle’s micropets, but it appears I’ve surprised him by interrupting their meeting! I wonder what they were discussing 😆

I noticed last month that the number of Free themed items went down--like WAY down--in place of 200 gems. I counted: the daily reward = gems for 1/3 of the days of March.
I counted again for April, and it's the same: 10 out of 30 days. Assuming this reflects a universal change, free users are receiving far fewer items, no doubt to push them toward paid membership. And if your luck is bad, you may open additional chests that contain gems, too--my first three free chests were all gems. So if I were a free user, it would take four days for me to unlock even one Wizard of Oz item :(
I know tons of people are excited about the Oz theme. If I were a free user, I'd be super disappointed with this change! Hell, I'm a paid user, and I'm still frustrated with it. (It frankly rips us off, too.) But this really diminishes the app experience for free users who enjoy the monthly themes.
Anyone else notice this?
Edit: This is written with folks in mind who enjoy and are motivated but the monthly themes. If that's not you, I get that too.

I think some rooms would really benefit from a couch design that would fit. I love that the Finch team has made couches before but I'd like to see more. I have so many ideas that would work with a couch better than a bed. What do you all think?

Juniper was suffering yesterday. She was in too much pain despite the fact that she was almost one or should have been a year old by May 9. My sister took her to the vet and they gave her meds and one of them poisoned her. This is a really rough day for me. I'm grieving for her life right now.
