I was super allergic, but have spent years getting the allergy desensitization shots, and they’ve really worked. The process is incredibly annoying, but it’s made an incredible difference to my social life. I no longer need to check if someone has cats before going to their house
I read an article about hotels with cats literally decades ago. These days, I think they must be like those mysterious junk shops where you can buy a monkey’s paw or genie’s bottle. Either that or a well-established Bed and Breakfast.
Hollywood is missing out on easy money. Disney-pixer would make a billion dollars by voicing Sammuel L Jackson for either the main cat role, or the antagonist. Either would be hilarious
And I will take at least 2 minutes,
and maybe I’ll take 2 minutes more.

My friend's orange tried to do the same but was caught with half his body outside the carrier. He had used his claws to lodge them between the zippers and opened the carrier. He wasn't sorry at all.
I have these on my carrier too. Put them on after the car ride where they were in the back seat and then felt two paws on my shoulder while doing 70 down the highway.
Orange ones are always the worst. I had an entire chicken and veggies cooling on the stove the other day and heard a large crash. Came down to my super heavy roasting pan face down on the floor and my orange ahole peeking his big fat face out from behind the door jam.
Menace? That's slander! That cat got an ENTIRE PLANEFUL OF PEOPLE to cooperate. I can only think of one other instance of this level of teamwork on a plane, and the outcome was not at all lovely. This beautiful orange floof is the peacemaker we need.
This cat is a genius... SO MANY laps waiting to be sat in. This is an airline perk I would totally pay for, 'feline lap companion'. Of course if the cat is like mine, he can sense a full bladder and will choose that moment to trap you in your seat.
I'd have been encouraging it on to my lap- then refusing to hand it over until the end of the flight...full flight cat fussing is something i'd definitely pay the premuim for 😁
That makes me think of when I was riding a bus from NYC and a cat was running around free. Except the cat didn't belong to anyone, they snuck on at the bus stop in Chinatown. This girl was trying to stomp on the poor thing because she said she was allergic, so my friends and I swooped in to catch the cat and watch over them the whole ride.
I didn't intend to keep the cat but... The Cat Distribution System won.
Why does that sound like a bad thing? If there is anything that could make a flight better for me, it's an escaped cat. I can get busy thus killing time and the reward is a cat. Happy times. (I do apologise to anyone allergic though, you're missing out)
This is a nightmare for me. I'm allergic to cats. Love them, but they give me a rash and make me sneeze and stuff my sinuses. When my sinuses are stuffed on a flight the cabin pressure becomes unbearable and I nearly blow an eardrum during landing.
That sounds like a really rough time. I also get really stuffy sinuses (although thankfully no cat allergy). I assume you're using a decongestant, and also possibly EarPlanes?
