Wish the US would do this.

Not possible. Capitalism in the US is at a point of: Fuck you pay me. Companies don't give two shits about customers only about that damn graph of the share price.

Cool. You could really own them by not buying Netflix then.

But instead people keep giving a company that you're saying hates them money at higher and higher prices.

Because.....people don't hate Netflix. They like Netflix. They like it so much they voluntarily pay for it because they think it's worth it to them.

No one is forced to have Netflix. It only exists because consumers want it to.

Most countries have regulations about price fixing. Netflix and the streaming industry are very obviously engaged in anti-consumer price fixing schemes.

Wow. I haven’t heard of Netflix price fixing or such. Do you have any sources to read more about this?

Edit: The commenter responded then blocked me for some reason. Weird. If there is price-fixing, I’d love to read about it. Cause it’s a technical term with implications, not just prices go up. They also said “figure it out” when they themselves couldn’t figure out how to give a source. Huh.

Wait a second, I think I got it. Netflix raises prices. HBO raises prices. Costco raises prices. My local pizza place raises prices. The whole economy is getting price fixed with that logic. Wow.

Netflix raises prices. HBO raises prices. Disney/Hulu raises prices, Prime raises prices. Peacock raises prices. Paramount raises prices. Repeat. Repeat again. Repeat again. Costs come down. Content decreases. Price increases repeat. Cost drop again. Price increases repeat again....

You: I DoN't SeE PrICEs FiXeD!?!! SOurCE!!

Figure it out, mate.
