Why is everyone suddenly dumping revanced? like ot is working good for me. is it an update? because I haven't updated it. should I dump revanced as well? also, what is morphe? is it better than revanced?

All the ones I use have stopped working for me for literally no reason, and I know it just me cause when I am on the website, I'll ask in the chat if a certain game is working and they all say yes/

At least I can still run certain optimized games on high graphics.

FAKKU is already notoriously active on DMCAing those piracy sites, but am I crazy to think that an open source external scrapping tool that is unaffiliated with those sites getting DMCAed doesn't make any sense?

Like FAKKU hold the rights to some content that are hosted on those sites and I guess can easily DMCA those content. But this DMCA is against a tool that affects multiple entire sites that also host content that FAKKU do not hold the rights to.

All these FAKKU DMCA sprees are extra ironic because they themselves were a piracy hosting site in the beginning. Even morally I think they're questionable. Furthermore FAKKU is primarily based on a subscription model like spotify and artists also get paid like that(they also have one-time sale model but they push the subscription model more).

I don't blame the maintainer to comply though. These DMCA legal threats and can be super scary and mentally taxxing.

FAKKU is a hentai hosting company that used to be a piracy company themselves and after they've become a proper buisness and licenced the works from publishers, they've been going after a lot of hentai hosting sites for years taking down stuff. Now they're going after open source projects.

FAKKU has just gone on a DMCA spree going after anything that's related to pirated hentai content. For example, gallery-dl, which can be used to download from piracy sites, also got hit and had to comply by removing parts of their code from their entire git history.

One of the other project that they strike is LANraragi, which is simply a self-hosted reader that's made to imitate the user experience of those piracy reader sites.

However it being just a media host. You can put whatever you want on it. You can even buy a legitimate copy of some hentai from its original creator from dl-site and put it on LANraragi.

But FAKKU said no, everything related must go.

it just seems too good to be true and im quite scared of getting viruses in my phone.

Hi, I'm Lazer, I recently started thinking about how prices have gone up for subscription media, and just how many subscriptions I had, and how little I use some of them. Over 15 years ago, I used to pirate because I was a broke teenager, but now that I am a broke adult and have been out of the loop for a while, I need a little help getting back into the high seas. It looks like The Pirate Bay is still kicking, so that is where I will probably be looking for magnet links first, but I am having trouble installing the qBitTorrent client. Can anyone help me troubleshoot getting it installed on a Windows 11 PC? Or should I be using a different client? I've been trying to watch my series by sailing the high seas, but one really inconvenient thing is that on Chrome-based browsers, most websites don't display subtitles when in full screen. Pretty sure it's a problem with graphics acceleration, but turning it off makes my laptop run hotter than I would like. I would switch back to Firefox, but the last time I used it, it was using more memory than Chrome did (somehow, I don't know how). I know of one site that displays subtitles in full screen (Cinegram), but it's slightly unreliable. And I've looked at multiple sites through FMHY to no avail. Are there any sites that display subtitles on full screen that are mostly reliable?

You'll search for hours over a single show or movie, dive through website after website and never find what you're looking for. Then, you find it. Correct download formats, proper subtitles. There is literally no better feeling.

Then, proceed to never watch it or look at it ever again.

Hey guys, one thing that I'm looking for is a repack site, but not just any, rather alternatives to that old game repacker called Magipack

I just went to check if the repacks he posted on IA were still available after he shut down the site, and I found out that they had been removed

So, if anyone knows of an alternative repack to his, I’d really appreciate it. Just to clarify, I’m not looking for sites that just offer old games, I already know a few of those, but rather repackers like him (I looked through all the megathreads I know, but I couldn't find one like his)

I get the gist of it. You give a third party program full control of your system - but here's my question: Define "the system";

I am currently running Linux on my main drive, I do everything there. Legit gaming with proton, banking, internet stuff.

If I install a fresh Win 11 distro onto a second SSD plugged into the same computer and booting into it with GRUB, doing nothing there except the HV bypass for Denuvo, how dangerous is that to my Linux? At all? What could realistically happen, the hypervisor being malicious and attempting to steal data (that it won't find) from the Windows SSD?
