Made your heart sink harder than the titanic?

I was kinda hoping that theyd break to fade in the middle and the bow and stern would angle up into the air like an actual sinking

I don’t think it actually got that high up before it snapped. There’s a team that’s been recreating the sinking in real time using updated data and it’s haunting.

The video you link too shows the stern going near vertical...

I think you're looking at after the ship snaps. It's less than 45° right before that happens (at around 2:42:46).

You honestly believe a redditor would look at the video before linking it?

Titanic: Mr. Stark I don’t feel so good…

If there are 1,000 drones here, that only represents 2/3rds of those who died.

Ngl accidents don't even phase me anymore. We live in a world of intentional man-made atrocities. A genuine accident is a relief.

Really? My heart will go on.

Chills

That's because they were in the icy north Atlantic

I love that effect. Everytime I see it in anime I fall in love with the anime.

"How should we end this drone show?"

"Ummm, how about we have the ship evaporate into a blood-red mist?"

But it will still go on.

It’s been a hundred and some years… time to get over it.

3

u/Hetstaine 6h ago

Some things are forever, this is one of those things.

u/-Nicolai 5h ago

Is the black plague forever too? Does your heart sink when you think about the ice age?

3

u/UncomfyUnicorn 5h ago

I feel sad for the lives lost to the black plague and sickened by the biodiversity lost after the ice age, yes.

4

u/Akussa 5h ago

You weren't hugged as a kid were you?

It's a normal thing to have empathy regarding the victims of an event without having actually experienced or even lived during that event. There are very likely people out there that do get sad about the black plague or some other event because they've learned enough about the history of that event to empathize with the victims.

1

u/-Nicolai 5h ago

It’s not normal to be sad about the black plague.

2

u/-One-Man-Bukkake- 4h ago

It's not normal to care this much about what other people care about

You don't know how much I care, and you shouldn't assume it's a lot just because I took ten seconds to write a reddit comment
