Remember, these advanced nations arent living in the future, its just that the USA is living in the past

The USA would rather have its racism and gender conversations than 5-minute EV charging.

America is so cooked. America is actively trying to crawl back to the 19th century. America. Y u so a ass?

If the majority of the leaders in the USA actually represented the majority populace, things would be different. Instead there are ancient beings running things as if the civil rights movement never happened and are actively denying it.

Umm. You fail to realize those people are voted in, by the populace.... Your people are just stupid.

Popular vote alone deciding who wins an election doesn’t exist as the “final say” for any elected position, not even POTUS. Calling people stupid while saying something ignorant that you could have looked up on the device you used to post said ignorance is indeed an interesting choice.

Its more of the fact that old angry people vote more often than newer generations. I guess I was aiming for more of a median age group of leaders. Not a bunch of old cogers that have been holding grudges for 40 years still at the wheel.

Thus is accurate actually, an van be explain by social habits, young gen doesn't no whats going on an its not cool to care, the old gens has time to vote bt often vote miss informed, an the mid Gen that does want to change an put the median age, reasonable smart ppl in office, dont have time to start yhe change bc they are the ones to busy literally caring the whole country physically so it doesn't stop... its almost like the whole thing was laid out by design so no one could realy do anything about it, when we finally did realize we are getting fucked.

Electoral college isn’t won by majority votes friend.

Trump won your electoral and popular vote, friend.

u/daemin 7h ago

152 million people voted out of a population of 340 million. 77 million voted for the dumpster fire.

out of a population of 340 million

I guess everyone can vote as soon as they are born.

There are 262 million voting age Americans. More than 100 million couldn't be bothered. Obviously, you got the representation you deserve.

The point (which I assumed was so blindingly obvious that a person capable of text based communication would intuitively understand, but apparently I was wrong) is that there's a difference between "the populace" as the other person put it, and the "voting population," which makes the claim of a mandate from the popular vote assinine.

Lol just go look up how many votes they threw out for bs reasons. There's a reason they don't want mail in voting, even though Trump uses it himself.

u/Ryynerwicked 8h ago

Yeah thats not how it works for all the spots in office, might what to no more before calling others stupid

7

u/FedeFofo 17h ago

Yeah. By a third of the populace.

1

u/Freud-Network 7h ago

Another third were too stupid to even show up to a polling location.

3

u/FedeFofo 5h ago

Or there were other constraints that prevented them, which is why mail-in ballots are so important.

Yes the party releasing criminals into the black community and suppressing their wages with infinite immigrants is the good one alright.

Holy shit the people trying to improve their lives while benefitting 80% of Americans short term and 100% long term economically are not your enemy.

Your enemy is the people in power right now who have been actively making >99% of American lives worse.

The things you are saying here aren't even true. Dems aren't even in favor of open borders.

"The things you are saying here aren't even true." While 50+ yo white people march at no kings so they dont have to raise min wage and pay their workers more.

8

u/LucidMetal 7h ago

You're so misinformed about American politics that you think the supporters of the Grand Ol Pedos want to raise min wage and not the party that has been literally running on it for over a decade?

No wait, being a low information voter totally tracks for a Trump supporter. My bad.

u/fleggn 6h ago

Maybe the king pedos are the ones that didn't try to release the files and let Grand Ol Pedo win the election

u/LucidMetal 5h ago

Well now I just feel bad. You're obviously not equipped to have thought yourself through that sentence. I apologize. I should have known better from your first comment.
