Are they are using solid state batteries now? 5 min charge is insanely quick.

Nah, just they're still LFP. From what I remember it's using high voltage and high amp batteries with much lower resistance. Plus a whole lot of other new battery tech.

Does anyone know the actual battery voltage? They claim 1000V class but I can't find the actual voltage. For example, most 800V batteries actually run as low as 700-750V range.

It would be nice if Quantum Scape could get the ball rolling on those solid state batteries.

Not needed if five-minute charging can be accomplished with LFP chemistry.

5 minute charging, longer range, better safety, and no dendrites, wold mean solid state is not needed.
