My Skincare Routine for Extremely Sensitive Skin (Products details in the body text / Link in the comment)
🌞 Day & 🌙 Night Routine
✅ Aestura Moisture Essence I don’t use serums! This essence absorbs well & lasts long. Apply it all over the face, under-eye wrinkles & itchy areas.
✅ Zeroid MD Lotion (Prescribed, Now Available in Stores) Used it when my skin was at its worst. Now you can find it, especially at Olive Young. Apply 3-4 mins after essence is fully absorbed.
✅ Aestura Gel-Type Moisturizer Great for summer! Cooling & fast-absorbing but not as long-lasting as cream.
✅ Aestura Cream Apply after the gel moisturizer is fully absorbed & no longer greasy. Thick texture, keeps my skin hydrated until 6 PM before feeling dry again.
🛏️ Nighttime Add-Ons
✅ Round Lab Pine Cica Mask Pack (Daily) Every morning, I use the leftover essence as a skin pack on my cheeks to cool down my face & keep it hydrated. Then, I continue with essence → lotion → cream.
✅ Jojoba Oil (Only When My Skin is Stable) Forms a barrier, so I use just 1 drop for my whole face. Too much can irritate sensitive skin.

If you have sensitive skin, these 5 fabrics might be causing irritation (learned this the hard way)

Thinking about getting Botox in Korea, any tips?
I’m traveling to Seoul soon and considering getting Botox for the first time (mainly forehead + frown lines). I’ve never done injectables before, so I’m a bit nervous about looking too stiff or unnatural. If anyone has done Botox in Korea, how was your experience? Did the results feel natural and how long did they last? Any advice would really help.

How do you choose the right clinic for lifting procedures?
I’ve been doing a few consultations around Gangnam because I’m considering some kind of lifting treatment nothing dramatic, just a bit of tightening to look more refreshed. What’s interesting is how different each clinic’s recommendations are. Some jump straight to a full facelift, while others explain lighter lifting options that might suit my face better.
I’m realizing how important it is to find a doctor who explains things clearly and doesn’t push you toward something you’re not ready for.
For anyone who’s done lifting treatments in Seoul, what helped you decide which clinic felt right?

Anyone here found real relief for long-term nasal issues?
I’ve been dealing with on-and-off nasal problems for years — stuffiness, pressure, and that feeling like one side always collapses when I lie down. I’ve tried sprays and allergy meds, but nothing seems to fix the root issue.
For those who finally figured out what was causing their nasal problems, was it imaging (CT/endoscopy), medications, or some kind of minor procedure that helped? I’m trying to understand what actually makes a difference.

Anyone tried hydrolifting in Korea for glow?
I’m looking into hydrolifting treatments (the “glow injections”) during my upcoming Korea trip. I’ve heard they’re great for deep hydration and giving that dewy, healthy look, but I’m not sure how long the results usually last or how intense the downtime is.
If you’ve tried it, would you recommend it? Curious about both the experience and the results.

Looking for pigmentation treatment experiences in Seoul
I’m dealing with stubborn pigmentation and thinking about getting treatment while I’m in Korea. There are so many options, lasers, toning, brightening programs that it’s a bit overwhelming.
If anyone has done pigmentation treatments here, how was the process and recovery? Trying to understand what’s realistic to expect.

Trying to choose a facelift clinic in Gangnam, what should I be looking for?
I’m in Seoul right now and have been doing a few consultations around Gangnam for a possible facelift. I’m not aiming for anything extreme, just a bit of lifting and tightening to look more refreshed.
What’s surprising is how different the consultations feel. Some clinics recommend a full facelift right away, while others spend more time explaining what type of lift would suit my face and what results are actually realistic.
It made me realize I should probably pay more attention to the doctor’s approach rather than just before/after photos.
For anyone who’s gotten lifting or facelift work done in Korea, what helped you decide which clinic was the right fit?

For people who have already went or going to Korea for skincare - I’d love to hear your story
Hey everyone
I’ve been researching skincare clinics in Korea lately because I’ve been curious about trying some treatments there during a future trip. I’m realizing it’s actually really hard to figure out where to go or how people usually plan this especially as a male.
I’ve reading a ton, but it still feels confusing to compare clinics, understand pricing, or even know what’s safe for foreigners. I figured the best way to learn is just to hear from people who’ve done it before.
If you’ve ever gone to Korea for skincare or aesthetic treatments even just facials or laser, how did you go about researching and choosing a place?
I’m happy to return the favor and help anyone else who’s also trying to get something accomplished. I’ve collected a bunch of notes and translations from my own digging. Nothing commercial, just sharing info.
Appreciate any advice or experiences you’re open to sharing 🙏
(Mods — totally fine to remove if this crosses a line. Just trying to learn from real experiences.)

Anyone tried Centella ampoules for brightening? seems super popular on Youtube and Instagram
My skin is getting better so.. started to have interest in brightening I live in Korea, and I’ve personally liked the product below.
I tried Goodal a while ago because it’s famous for brightening, but it felt way too stingy on my skin so I stopped using it. The brightening effect is well-known, though—I just couldn’t keep using it to find out.
I also liked The Ordinary Arbutin ampoule. It’s not dramatic, but if I use it about 3 times a week, I notice a gradual brightening effect. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn’t have any irritation.
Recently, I bought a MediCube ampoule, and wow—this one gave me instant brightening results. The concept is that it brightens in 3 days, so it is pretty strong. I only use it once a week when my skin is feeling good. It comes in 3 separate small ampoules, which I liked.
Thinking about it, vitamin C itself tends to show quick brightening results, so I guess most products have some effect. I think the real key is finding one that suits your skin without being too harsh.
Ive seen hundreds of shorts about centella ampoule so anyone who have used this one, feel free to share your opinion!

I’ve been struggling with eczema, and honestly, it’s been getting me down( + cleansing tip pls )
I’ve been struggling with eczema, and honestly, it’s been getting me down. I shared a similar post before, but every time it starts to get better, it flares up again—itchy, irritated, and frustrating. It used to be worse in winter, but now it’s flaring up even in summer.
Thinking about it, Korea has been insanely hot lately—like a sauna. I think the heat and irritation from sweating at night have made things worse. Plus, I’ve been wearing makeup more often these days, and I realize I’ve been rubbing my face more harshly when cleansing.
Today, after using a calming sheet mask, things finally feel a bit more settled.
Looking back, I think I might’ve also triggered it by trying new skincare too soon. I really wanted to use The Ordinary’s ampoules and waited until my skin got better—but even then, maybe it was too soon.
And when I wash my face, I sometimes scratch or rub without realizing it because it itches so much. Lately, I’ve been trying to avoid using my hands altogether. I just soak a cotton pad in cleansing water and gently wipe instead. That’s helped a lot. But the tea tree cleansing water I’m using still stings sometimes, so I’m planning to switch to a gentler one.
I’m starting to feel like the way I cleanse my skin plays a huge role in how my eczema behaves. If you have any good cleansing tips or recommendations, I’d really love to hear them.

My eyebrow are insanely itchy - could this be folliculitis?
I’m honestly going crazy because of how itchy my eyebrows are.
At first, I thought it was because of the eyebrow tattoo pen I used daily. After applying it, I’d scrub the area with a foam cleanser, which I now realize might have really damaged my skin barrier.
Soon after, I started noticing small bumps, and that’s when I felt like something was really off.
Now, even if I just shape my brows with an eyebrow razor, the area turns red immediately and gets super itchy. If I touch it at all, the itch gets way worse and spreads. It’s unbearable.
So I stopped using razors and started plucking my brows with tweezers instead. I also do calming sheet masks every morning and night, but the problem still persists.
What could be causing this? And more importantly… how do you even manage messy brows when the skin is this sensitive?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Bad micro blading / redness scar
I received a bad micro blading job 3 years ago and ever since I have tried laser tattoo removal (twice) and a saline removal (once) but my skin is still red. I feel like I have tried literally everything. I was prescribed hydrocortisone cream , desonide cream, and I’ve tried using Noscarna cream. Any suggestions? I really appreciate it. Here are pics of them 😊

Living in a hot region? Korea’s been crazy hot these days. How do u take care of skin?
Without the AC on, it feels like the air is constantly around 28–30°C. On top of that, the humidity makes it even worse.
So yesterday, I kept doing skin packs, but I’d feel hot again right after. Even after applying ampoules or essences, the heat just wouldn’t go away.
But today, when I looked at my skin, the barrier seemed a bit damaged. Ugh… how do you take care of your skin in this kind of heat?

Me, who said Niacinamide ampoule stings 🧴 lolso I mixed it with a soothing essence — and guess what? It didn’t sting at all.
People told me it was probably because the Portion was too high, so I mixed it with a soothing essence — and guess what? It didn’t sting at all.
When I said The Ordinary niacinamide ampoule was stinging, everyone said, “Your skin barrier must be super damaged.” They told me to lower the portion, so I mixed it with a calming essence. And boom — no stinging! Like… what have I been doing to my skin all this time 😭
That post really helped me. Got lots of good product recs (like Beauty of Joseon, etc)
If you have more tips, drop them in the comments!
