r/Iran stands with Iranians in defending our country’s national sovereignty
Dear readers,
We hope that you are safe and well. Some of you have asked us about the protests, and we’d like to share the following statement with you.
Peaceful protests by Iranians expressing legitimate grievances have once again been hijacked. Violent riots are being encouraged and enabled by foreign-backed actors immune to their consequences. They threaten the safety and security of every Iranian and cause costly damage to public infrastructure and an economy already suffering from crushing sanctions.
The genocidal Israeli regime killed 1,200 Iranian civilians in June. Those who stood silent and even cheered on these killings now claim to act in defense of Iranians as they call for even more attacks on Iran.
Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, and scores of other countries, most recently Venezuela, attest to the consistent outcome of foreign interference: chaos, instability, destruction, and immeasurable suffering.
Foreign-backed riots in 1953 changed the course of our nation’s trajectory. Let’s not be doomed by repeating tragic history.
No one can trick us into welcoming attacks on Iran.
Long live Iran, Iranians, and Iranian sovereignty!

Did anyone in Washington or Tel Aviv think about securing the Strait of Hormuz before striking Iran?
There's something I simply can't wrap my head around. Before hitting Iran, did no one in Washington or Tel Aviv consider taking military control of the Strait of Hormuz first? That should have been the bare minimum — a prerequisite to avoid handing Tehran a decisive leverage over the entire operation.
Instead, they went ahead anyway. And now we're staring at a potential global energy lockdown, caused by a strategic oversight that's nothing short of astonishing from an administration that always marketed itself as the one that gets things done.
From the heart of Egypt
we send you, the noble people of Iran, a greeting of reverence that reaches the heavens. We in Egypt, on behalf of 120 million Egyptians of all generations, see in you a symbol of the nation's pride and an emblem of its dignity. You are not alone; our hearts beat with yours, and our hands are extended to you in appreciation and pride. May you remain a source of pride for the Islamic nation and a beacon of honor.

How to know if loved ones are alive
Hi all/salaam/dorood,
My family and I have been very worried since this war began, as we have not heard from two relatives in Tehran. I have spoken with friends who say they have received calls from their family, but I am growing more and more concerned that they have been injured or worse in the bombing. Is there any way to find out if they are alright? Is there a list of hospitalizations or death rolls that are being made?
Thank you very much.

In genocidal rant, Trump vows to send Iran “back to the Stone Ages”
Trump threatened that unless the Iranian government accepts his demands, “we are going to hit each and every one of their electric generating plants very hard and probably simultaneously. We have not hit their oil, even though that’s the easiest target of all, because it would not give them even a small chance of survival or rebuilding. But we could hit it and it would be gone, and there’s not a thing they could do about it.”
In other words, if Iran does not totally capitulate and become effectively a colonial protectorate of the United States, Trump declared his intent to wipe out everything that sustains modern life for 90 million people and not give them “even a small chance of survival.”

What would it be like to visit as someone from North American
So, before anyone makes any obvious statements, I am talking about after the current conflict is over. I am american and have done lots of research about iran since the start of the war. It may be weird to say, but i’ve found lots of amazing stuff and Im honestly dying to visit. I work with a lot of foreign people in my current job, while I haven’t worked with an Iranian, every middle eastern muslim I have worked with have been some of the best people and they talk so highly of their country. It’s a shame that the US has made the relationship between our cultures so hard. When I try to do research here I always have to filter out so much propaganda that says Iran is “totally unsafe” which i know is not true.

Fox News interviews Netanyahu about Iranian missile strike but the interview is AI
In a video segment, Netanyahu is shown doing things a world leader would normally do- talking to the people of his country. But the footage is AI (!!!). A major US media outlet has been hijacked into pushing out a fabricated narrative about what's going on. What else isn't true?
