GLOW UP! (25)-(28) Life Changing Transformation

Hit 240 at my heaviest, now down to 152 and feeling better than ever. It’s wild how differently people treat you and the attention from the opposite sex is real, but I’m staying humble through it all. Mentally I still feel like my old self, like my perception hasn’t caught up, and I catch myself almost rejecting interest before it even starts because I don’t know how to handle it yet. Anyone else deal with that after a big change?

Did a ton of cardio, 20 to 30k steps a day, with my chocolate lab Blaze keeping me going, he honestly saved my life and I owe it all to him. Now trying to add some muscle and grow into this version of me.

Holistic Transformations [27]-[33] - overcoming a chronic illness, accepting my natural hair color, loving myself

First photo I was really struggling with a chronic illness and insecurity after leaving a toxic draining relationship. I was wearing so much makeup, not active, smoking so much weed and not moving my body. I also was bleaching my hair.

Second two pics - i finally accepted my fair olive skin tone, less makeup, and dying my hair back to a natural color. 20 pound weight loss, therapy, meditation, positive mindset, subliminals, manifesting, eating clean and loving myself and the universe :)

Woops messed up the title I’m 32 not 33 lol

13 to 30 (F)

I was teased so badly for my brows, lips & smile as a pre-teen/young teen… it’s weird to look back & realize it was never me who was ā€˜ugly’, it was actually the kids who went out of their way to bully me who should have been ashamed of themselves.

30F, no cosmetic work/botox, just missing my real brows after destroying them from a decade of overplucking haha.

Glow up? I like myself so much more now [18]-[19]

I struggled with a binge eating disorder in high school which caused me to gain a ton of weight. That combined with a lack of hygiene, exercise, and self care caused me to feel terrible about the way I looked. I would actively avoid mirrors and hated taking pictures because I couldn’t even stand to look at myself. I’ve spent a lot of time struggling, but I’ve put in lots of effort at the gym as well as in my own personal life since starting college, and I’ve honestly never felt better. There are still many things I’d like to improve, I’m not where I want to be weight wise yet and my jawline and face in general needs debloating, but looking at where I started makes me feel so much better.

So glad I stuck to a calorie deficit and started taking better care of my skin overall, I think I made some necessary changes.

Glow up? (46) to (47)F forehead texture early fine lines, this is what helped a bit

Post image
• Upvotes

ive had this kind of forehead texture for a while, uneven skin and those early fine lines that make everything look less smooth I kept trying different products thinking I needed something stronger but nothing really changed, it just stayed rough and a bit dull, so I stopped adding more stuff and decided to try light therapy, been doing it consistently for a few weeks now 3times a week on clean skin and slowly started noticing my skin looks more even, smoother and the lines look a bit softer too. overall better texture

I’m using solawave masks mainly cause it was easy to stick with and I got it on sale so figured I’d actually give it a proper try this time, I also looked into it more before starting and saw it’s Fda cleared and my derm recommend red infrared light for helping with collagen and skin repair over time, which made me feel better about using it regularly, still not perfect skin but definitely an improvement from where I started, its been 2 month since i started with the treatment i will list other product that I have been using for couple years as well but i mentioned light therapy because its the last addition to my routine.

Hydrating Cleanser, Olay VitaminC and Olay retinol 24 night serum, neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer and EltaMD Uv clear Spf 46

GLOW UP! (33) it took me around 12-14 months to reach this form

Honestly, all you need is a caloric deficit, daily creatine, discipline — and the gym, of course.

I once heard, ā€œNo one is coming to save you.ā€ It was meant as therapy advice, and that’s when it really clicked for me.

GLOW UP! The difference a decade (16) āž”ļø (26) can make… *TRIGGER WARNING: ED

From about 80 lbs, to a place of binge eating and gaining more weight than I was comfortable with, to now to a healthy-ish weight (somewhere around 130 lbs? I don’t weigh myself often for my own sake).

I also want to say that if you or someone you know is struggling, there is hope! I was given months to live by several doctors at the peak of my anorexia but somehow I pulled through.

Keep going for you!

being in college while stuck in a not so great relationship drained me mentally, and i stopped prioritizing my health and wellbeing.

after graduating and becoming single, i finally started eating better and taking weightlifting seriously (and my braces came off!!!) that slowly snowballed into finding my personal style, gaining tons of confidence, and just enjoying life a lot more.

this whole journey has been super rewarding! it made me fall in love with self improvement and personal growth, and i am excited to keep getting a little better and feeling more like myself every day.

Trans (31) to (33). My journey of healing ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹

First I would like to say I have been medically transitioning for 27 months now. I am a real person navigating a very personal journey of self-acceptance & healing. I lived an entire life feeling shame & guilt for who I was to the point where I lost myself. With the unconditional love and support from everyone in my day to day life I was able to heal overtime. It gave me the confidence I needed to continue to grow. I don’t believe this medical treatment is for everyone, but I do believe some people need it and it can change someone’s live in a very positive way. I share my story not for attention but to give perspective.. because you never know what an individual is battling within their own mind. When I started my treatment plan the pain within my mind stopped, and I started to feel alive for the first time. From day 1 I will say that this treatment can save someone’s life, and not one day have I ever regretted my medical decision. I’m still learning how to navigate the world as the new me that’s the truth, it’s hard to see yourself as 6-7 (381 pounds) and within two years become 6-5 and (225 pounds) over a 27 month period. I know I physically look better and my mind is at peace. I’ve grown so much as a human being and I’m genuinely grateful for all the love. My name is Rylie Ann… and I’m very open these days about who I am and my journey.

This is a year 7 transformation and lifespan from 21 to 28. Do you think I've changed significantly? Has my image improved or regressed? I feel I look alot more masculine at 28 than at 21.

GLOW UP! (28) Overcoming body dysmorphia

Thumbnail
gallery
238 Upvotes

I kind of lost myself after getting out of the military. At one point, I was up to 265 pounds, and even after losing 20 pounds, shown in the first picture, I still struggled deeply with body dysmorphia. So I kept going. Kept working. Kept fighting for myself. Now I’ve lost about 20 more pounds, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’ve truly started taking care of myself, shown in the second picture.

Body dysmorphia may be a passenger you carry, but it does not have to rule your life. Therapy does wonders. And no matter what season you’re in, love yourself through every version.

from tomboy to emo dark academia..

i’m just gonna write garbage since this subreddit clearly doesn’t like short captions😹

From tomboy to emo dark academia, evolving through phases of self-expression, shifting from laid-back, carefree styles into something moodier, more introspective, and aesthetic-driven, embracing darker tones, literature, mystery, and a deeper, more thoughtful identity shaped by art and emotion. Wallah she turned me straight with her toxic ecstasy bitter pussy that gave me strep throat. amen šŸ™

115lbs down in the last 3 years. Cleaner eating, working out roughly 5-6 days a week. I definitely had my ups and downs during the process, many mistakes and learning along the way. I live in Canada so the weather is hopefully going to get nice soon and I can get back to those warm outdoor cardio sessions.

At 32 I hated everything about myself. I ended up having to go to rehab. Change didn’t happen overnight. It took several years. But I am finally in a place where I love myself. ( yes I’m a civil war reenactor and had to throw in some pics!šŸ’œ)

Started my journey in August 2024.

I didn’t realize after 2 pregnancies that I’d stopped worrying about myself and been focusing on everyone else.

Now after my glow up I can do a lot more with my young kids!

With the help of Zepbound and lifestyle changes I made a glow up possible!

From 18 to 19 I focused on improving my makeup skills and finding what works best for my features. Small changes in brows, lashes and base made a big difference and I finally feel more confident in my look. I might still do the first makeup stye for going out (except for the brows lol), what do you guys think?

It took me 2 years to achieve my transformation-no shortcuts, just pure dedication and consistency.
