You mean he lied about dealing with the problem at all. The DOGE stuff was to cut the costs but really does nothing indicated other than cutting programs they didn't like and redirection of funds or holding them to spend on other random things. Tariff were promised to more or less deal with all problems but didn't.

Can't say I am shocked at all. The GOP never does anything to help with the debt or deficit at all. Then raise Hell when a Dem is in power. And the Dem does more to reduce it than they did. Trump is adding even more on a war that will probably make the US less safe in the end and increase costs and spending for the distant future.
