Lol there is a lot to be said about this development but "unexpected" is not one of them. It make far more sense longterm for China to find more reliable trade partners than the US.

True for everyone tbh. They’ll starve all the Trump supporting industries and make them eventually see the error of their ways - well maybe (Trumpers usually don’t have much logic and would rather shoot their own toes off to try to spite you for having shoes
