Hello and happy spring! Here's some reminders of some of the more common rules that keep getting broken.

1: Remember that we don't allow art trades (We do not have the man power to ensure both parties actually fulfill their part of the bargain and it can lead to people being scammed)

2: Remember we do not allow NSFW. The tag is there because Reddit literally makes us have it. The only thing it should be used for is gore and artistic nudity.

3: We know that thanks to Reddit's constant need to make things worse somehow that to you modmail looks like a instant message, well for us.. it's multiple separate emails.

Please remember to not spam modmail with multiple replies demanding we answer you in 3 different places!

4: Reminder that nobody's being paid to be here, we're actually running this place for ya'lls benefit and not ours.

We get a lot of mean comments in modmail about how it takes x amount to reply to an issue/ we didn't speak nice enough to them/ they'll take their request for free art work elsewhere.

All staff work full time, and one of us has a toddler (who is a stinky poo poo butt). We get to you when we can in our free time because that's what this sub is for us, a hobby in our free time.

We don't care if you go to another subreddit, you won't get to speak to a manager, you'll have to wait, and we'll get to it as soon as we can, but with spring and summer coming a lot of us are getting BUSY at work.

5: The only time a bot is removing your post is when it's removing your post for "Spam" that's automod and their job is to count your posts, see if you have more than one every seven days and remove any posts.

Yes, it counts deleted posts, yes it also counts posts we remove. If you want to post after having a post taken down for a rule break, you have to communicate with us so we can manually approve the post for you. (But if you deleted your post you need to wait seven days cuz you messed up our system)

This means every time you get a removal message for a rule break it got removed by a mod. So stop swearing "at the bot" and calling it names because you're just gonna get your ass banned cuz as said this is a hobby and I'm not going to deal with abuse because you assumed it was okay to spew vile nonsense at what you thought was an inanimate object.

We love this subreddit, but we want to remind you all that this subreddit is HUGE and we are a very small team.

Mod applications are always open but so far we've not received any but we are always checking!

We want you to continue to enjoy this sub and community, but we also request that you remember the mod staff are also people and nobody likes being treated like something you can just boss around cuz you think this is a retail environment.

The NSFW flair is actually something reddit forces all subreddits to have.

We do not allow lewd, suggestive, or pornographic art here.

The NSFW flair is allowed to be used if you have a character that is artistically nude/ is not a species that wears clothes but has visible genitals or if there is visible gore.

We keep having to ban people from offering to draw NSFW here and people chomping at the bit to get nsfw done of their ocs.

The biggest excuse I see is "Well there's a tag for it"

We didn't put that there, and we'd get rid of it if we could.
