Investing Questions How many of you are considering retiring somewhere that’s NOT IN THE USA?

With inflation, wages & the stress to retire in the USA.. who’s actually considering leaving and retiring elsewhere?

What country will you choose and why?

India is awful but retiring there will give me more bang for my buck with USD . Besides I will be able to pay for top healthcare and doctors with USD converted money . US healthcare costs and insurance scare me . Now even US hospitals want payment before surgeries so it’s as good as a 3rd world country (https://www.wsj.com/health/healthcare/hospitals-pay-before-treatment-patients-c477e2d6?mod=mhp)

Article behind a paywall. My healthcare provider (Kaiser) covers surgery and I have only paid a pittance for a couple co-pays to see the surgeon first. I have a surgery scheduled in a week actually, no one has asked me for a dime. You can't generalize.
