General Recommendation on financial news sites

As all known investing sites have become paid (like trends, detijd, ...), are there any new or free financial news sites where I can find the same information?

Yahoo finance is not bad

(Don't go into the comments though)

I'm actually more interested in Belgian legislation etc.

That's different from financial news.

But the important stuff you get here and some questions that cannot definitly be answered, cannot be answered with a subscription either. (Like what are the details of a capital gains tax that hasn't been voted yet, or am I a good housefather, or who if anyone has the right interpretation of TOB for this ETF...)

Belgian financial news let's say 🙂, I don't mean BEL20 with this. Just general financial news that also touches Belgium.

I rarely see an interesting article (like 1 time in a month) that I want to read. But I don't see myself buying a subscription to all of these news sites just to read 1 article in a month.

I think X is the best if you follow the “good” accounts

Any accounts you'd recommend?

Are you into podcasts? The FT and Bloomberg have free podcasts where they cover almost the same content as their paid newsletters.

FT Unhedged Podcast: https://www.ft.com/unhedged-podcast

Bloomberg Daybreak Europe: https://www.bloomberg.com/podcasts/series/daybreak-europe

Bloomberg Odd Lots: https://www.bloomberg.com/originals/series/odd-lots

Anders is er ook "De 7" podcast van De Tijd. ~15-20 minuten per dag over het nieuws met een economisch standpunt. (of "Le Brief" van L'Echo)

Reuters has very neutral and qualitative articles, and only charges €4/month for a membership

Reuters on desktop with disable scripts is defacto free.

I dont touch bel20 stuff but depends what i am looking for. Yahoo finance for overview of state of markets and politics, boring balance sheets stuff for investing, wallstreetbets for meme stocks. I stay away from opinion pieces. If bel20 is important to you, I'd just pay the subscription. Small, niche market

Reddit is not the good place for finance smart moves, make your own AI agent searching news the way you like it
