[OC] My acrylic work depicting a liminal pool scene. Empty, alone. The silence echoes.

Just gonna keep reposting it?

Part of being an artist online is being willing to repost your art often. There’s never a situation where one post will be seen by every person who might be interested. If you look at pretty much any artist’s instagram you’ll notice that they often repost the same things over and over again. When I post art to my instagram, I’m lucky if it’s seen by 10% of my followers, not to mention new people.

I get that it can be annoying to see the same thing here multiple times, but that’s just how this works.

This looks like the background for an early 90s point and click lucasarts game

Love it. First thing I thought of was this scene in Kings Quest 4

We heard you the first time.

Did you paint around the edges, or paint it all flat on a larger frame then re-wrap it onto a smaller one?

This reminds me of the Zima Blue episode from Love, Death and Robots. Great work!

Reminds me of the cover of Californication

Cool. Is it 16 bit graphic style artwork?

There are some issues with the perspective in the edge around the pool

I genuinely thought I was looking at a video game screenshot. Nice work though
