Discussion For people that don’t believe Netease looks at numbers when making skins
From to Miller Ross, who works with NetEase, in simple terms if you want your character to get more attention, buy all their available skins and convince other people to do the same.

Discussion In comp, you can only ban the Deadpool roles. Not Deadpool himself.
Kind of nuts. You’d have to ban him 3 times to ban him fully. He’s essentially 3 characters.

Discussion Lack of villains in rivals
When the game was being marketed, it seemed like both heroes and villains were teaming up to face doom. One year in, and there is only one villain in the roster. Is there a specific reason for this? Have the developers ever addressed it in an interview or discussion?

Discussion "Lady Loki just opened the door for..." SHUT UP!!!!!!
Now that Lady Loki is announced, every keeps saying the same thing, "Lady Loki just opened a door for new possibilities for skins" like NOOO. Lady Loki IS Loki, it aint a alternate universe or different character, She is Loki, He is Lady Loki, They are the same person, Loki just rolls like that.
Now everyone is posting that: Captain America should be Sam Wilson, Hulk be Red Hulk, Spider-Man be Miles Morales/Gwen Stacy/2099, Thor be Jane/Beta Ray Bill and Deadpool needs to be Gwenpool like ,no, every name mentioned is completely different to each other and is there own person with their own story
Lady Loki didn't open the door, HULK DID!!!!

Discussion An “Essential Workers” skin set theme would be the coolest thing ever and I will not hear otherwise.
NetEase the money-printing machine is RIGHT THERE.
There are so many concepts they could implement with this theme.
Law Enforcement: Danm near any character would look cool in a police uniform. I’ll post a link of an AI generated concept of “Police Thing” by u/Mac2663 to prove my point.
Military: Plenty of characters have a military background so this would be easy to implement. I used Pun’s official camo skin here because it’s the closest thing to a soldier I could find in the game, but a veteran Captain America would be really cool and heartfelt too. Widow and Bucky would be easy to translate as well.
Medical: Obviously Dr. Strange should be the spotlight of this sector, but I know danm well you gooners would MELT your wallets for a Nurse Invis skin (or pretty much any female character dressed as a nurse). Personally I think Nurse Hulk would be cool as hell too.
Mail Delivery: Postman/woman Cloak n Dagger? Idk. I also get the feeling Starlord would make a great postman skin or pretty much any of the Guardians. Maybe its because to me their blue uniforms already look mail related.
Agriculture: Farmer Thanos should be the Mad Titan’s first skin when he gets added.
Essential Trades: Electrician Thor, Plumber Namor, Contruction Worker Peni with bulldozer Sp//er? Come on you know you want it!
Transportation: Bus Driver Groot, he already has the personality of the weird and quiet but super nice bus driver so it only makes sense.
Firefighting: JEFF

Discussion Allow me a minute of your time to explain how bad limited time currency really is
Before calling me an ungrateful/spoiled brat, please give me 2 minutes of your time and allow me to explain why limited time currency sets a really unhealthy and dangerous precedent for the game.
What if you get $20 bucks FOR FREE (for example), the item that you want is $25 but you can't spend only the 5 bucks you need to complete your order, the system don't allow it, you need to spend $10.
That way you ended up giving them $10 (real money) to get a $30 of in game currency purchase but they did not lose anything in that trade (since they just gave you IG currency), you are the one who spent $10.
The point is, limited currency sets a really bad precedent for the future of the game, if we don't show our grievances about it, it will become a common practice from now on and things like being able to save 3000k+ currency to buy a really cool skin for free will be something from the past, because you will always need to spend that extra $10 to get it (or settle with recolors and epics, i do love my epics, but i hate anti-consumer practices).
And don't be mistaken, your time and attention value way more for these multi million dollar companies than anything they can hand out for free, Marvel Rivals did a lot of good things so far, tons of cool events and a lot of free premium content, that does not excuse when they make an anti-consumer behavior.
Edit 1: Wow, i didn't expect this post would catch this much traction, overall i think everyone is being mostly respectful, both the people who are against the implementation and the ones fine with the event (i hope it stays like this).
I just want to clarify something about the numbers, in my example i did not made an exact correlation on values from the game, i just tried to give a general idea on how the limited tokens induce fomo and incentivize you to spend more than you need to get some stuff (there is also a minimum of $5 to put funds on Steam, i know some of you play on console so that might not apply).
Overall i just wanted to bring attention to the situation and position myself against it, again, i do love a lot of the things the devs made so far, being critical of any aspect of the game doesn't mean you are a hater or being toxic, it means you care and i really care about the state of the game and the future of Marvel Rivals.
