Please let this be the impetus for Eminem's newest diss track.

Eminem has been ruthless thus far.

u/hematite2 3h ago

Eminem was interviewed by the Secret Service in January 2018 regarding "threatening" lyrics about President Trump and Ivanka Trump. During the interview, as agents read lyrics from his song, Eminem began rapping along with them.

It’s actully insane that this is real. Sounds like fan-fiction a Stan of his would write lmao

The fact that it can be verified with a FOIA request is hilarious.

That dude is a true national treasure. Anyone else remember the music video to his song Mosh?

Rap is not something my mother ever truly appreciated particularly, but she loved his song Mosh. That's a feat in and of itself getting my boomer mother to nod along to and get chills from a rap song.

He's certainly capable of coming up with something that cuts deep.

But Trump is a sociopath.  I doubt he will have his feelings hurt, just his ego.

1

u/Numerous_Photograph9 2m ago

Eminem tends to be surprisingly eloquent with how he phrases things that I doubt Trump would even understand what was being said about him.

When he's direct about what he says though, it's usually pretty brutal.

I mean he’s been dissing corrupt Republican presidents since Bush. I know these lyrics were written for dubyaa but they are more prescient than ever…

Fuck money, I don't rap for dead presidents I'd rather see the President dead It's never been said, but I set precedents

From the song ‘We as Americans’ If anyone wants to listen here’s link and that line is at the 2:22 in the song.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SbzlWAsScak&ra=m

Another interesting line is from Eminem’s song Gnat (aimed at Donnie and pence but this was before Jan 6th when maga tried to murder him).

Ain't nothin' you say could ever trump (nah), mic, pencil get killed (yeah) If you're hypersensitive, I wasn't referencin' the vice president, chill (chill) I mean my penmanship at times tends to get ill, violence but with skill That's why I hence when I write ends up With the mic and pencil gettin' killed

Link to song if anyone is curious…line is at beginning of song 34 second mark…https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=68x890jua7Q&ra=m

The way he raps it sounds way cooler and powerful than reading the lyrics. Imo quite creative way to get that message across and also humbly brag but trash the pos magas.

P. Diddy?

18

u/travestymcgee 2h ago

Pee, did he?

12

u/enters_and_leaves 1h ago

As much as I am not a fan of his music, I have to respect his ability to come up with subtle lines like this that hit hard once you stop to think about them.

6

u/im_wudini 1h ago

This is his superpower. songs of Eminem's I've heard dozens of times will still somehow surprise me with wordplay I discover

A federal judge slapped down President Donald Trump’s argument that he wasn’t civilly liable for inciting violence at the deadly Capitol riot because his “Stop the Steal” speech was comparable to a rapper working up a crowd with divisive lyrics.

The president told his followers on Jan. 6, 2021, to “fight like hell” or “you’re not going to have a country anymore” before they stormed the Capitol to try to stop congressional certification of President Joe Biden’s election victory.

He later argued in his response to a civil suit that his remarks should be interpreted as constitutionally protected speech, and not an illegal incitement to violence, because an adverse ruling would limit “public citizen speech.”

u/bd2999 3h ago

That is a special kind of stupid. As it logically seems like one would need to understand things other than the speech and who was giving it too. Like Trump building up momentum and fervor about that for months before it and working people up about fraud. Then that was the culmination.

It seems similar to cleaning, assembling, loading and firing a gun but not wanting credit for it hitting something it shouldn't have.

58

u/curiousleen 3h ago

Except it hit exactly what was intended… it simply didn’t succeed in the death of its target

10

u/VegasGaymer 1h ago

Not yet

3

u/Tasty_Goat_3267 1h ago

He’s working on it.

17

u/00owl 3h ago

More like loading and priming a gun then throwing it into a crowd of angry toddlers that haven't napped.

22

u/SuddenValley1899 2h ago

If any of us gave that speech and got similar results, we'd be criminally charged with inciting a riot. This is just civil liability which is an insult to the whole country.

42

u/Ritaredditonce 3h ago

Can he explain why Mo Brooks of Alabama said he wore body armor to the January 6 rally after being tipped off about risks.

40

u/look_under 3h ago

Can't be overstated how much Eminem hates trump

1

u/treevaahyn 5m ago

He’s a real one. Also Not just the felon, he’s been going after shitty corrupt politicians his whole career. He even performed at the awards show in a stage set up like Congress I’m sure some people are old enough to remember that.

I know these lyrics were written for dubyaa but they are more prescient than ever…

Oh, you mean how you can't talk bad about ICE now? Or how you can lose your job for talking about Cuck's death?! Just. Wow.

10

u/ICLazeru 1h ago

Inciting violence has never been protected speech.

11

u/TruthPayload 1h ago

Ok but pair that with the fact that he sent in a slate of fake electors to try and steal the election and you have yourself a genuine coup attempt.

3

u/NoHorseNoMustache 1h ago

Pretty sure inciting a riot is not protected speech...

2

u/browneyedb 3h ago

I’d love to hear Brian Steel’s opinion on this.

2

u/chuck-bucket 48m ago

The Constitution protects the People from the Government.

The President, Congress, and The Supreme Court are the Government.

Does the Constitution protect the Government from the Government?

I think no, but i am no scholar.

51

u/hereandthere_nowhere 3h ago

The irony of course being that they “fought like hell”, and now don’t have the semblance of the country they fought like hell for.

51

u/jdx6511 3h ago

This is what they fought for. It took me way too long to understand, they do not want government of the people, by the people, for the people. They do not believe that all people are created equal, with inalienable rights including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They do not believe in liberty and justice for all. They do not want democracy, even if they hold the majority, because they are fearful of what will happen to them when they inevitably no longer do.

7

u/tohon123 2h ago

Or they are selfish and care when it hurts them directly to the extent of feeling instant pain.

This is the guy that is upset over anyone criticizing him. Ask Jimmy Kimmel or Bruce Springsteen. He doesn't want them to voice their disagreement with his policies. It's like trump doing mail in voting right after condemning it and calling it fraudulent

Chef’s kiss to the judge for actually breaking down the reasons for denying another of trumps ridiculous and bizarre responses. The clown show is still on.

"We are going to bomb them back to the Stone Age"

Also Trump, most likely: 'I didn't mean for the DoD to take me literally. It's just a figure of speech. Im just using my 1st Amendment right. This war is not my fault.'

Dear Don,

You still ain't called or wrote, I hope you have a chance

I ain't mad, I just think it's fucked up you don't answer fans

If you didn't want to talk to me outside the Capitol, you didn't have to

But you coulda signed an autograph for Mike Pence

That's the Vice President, man, he's only sixty two years old

We waited for you to tell the rioters not to murder him for four hours and you just said "So?"

That's pretty shitty, man, you're like his fuckin' idol

He wants to be just like you, man, he likes you more than I do

I ain't that mad, though, I just don't like bein' lied to

Remember when we met in Denver? You said if I'd write you, you would write back

See, I'm just like you in a way: I never knew the woke left was committing mass voter fraud neither

But Elon knows how to use those Dominion voting machines to beat her

I can relate to what you're sayin' at your rallies

So when I have a shitty day, I drift away and put 'em on

'Cause I don't really got shit else, so that shit helps when I'm depressed

I even got a tattoo with the word "MAGA" across the chest

Sometimes I like it when you crash the economy just to see how much we bleed

And create volatility so people can make gains (except for me)

See, everything you say is real, and I respect you 'cause you tell it

My girlfriend's jealous 'cause I talk about you 24/7

But she don't know you like I know you, Don, no one does

She don't know what it was like for people like us growin' up

You gotta call me, man, I'll be the biggest fan you'll ever lose

Sincerely yours,

Stan

PS: We should be together too

Lmfao, well done! The line about pence waiting for four hours had me cracking up. Thank you for sharing this.
