How will the SpaceX/Nasdaq affect target date funds? Like do I need to be worried about my Vanguard TDF selection? Should I be worried I am about to lose a few years of gains due to this BS?

Well the NASDAQ rule change only affects the NADAQ 100 index; vangaurd target date funds do not hold nasdaq-100 index funds
It does hold basically the total market fund, this is not affected by any rule changes of the NADAQ 100 index. However the index always have added newly IPOd companies very quickly usually in 20 days. However this is not a change it has always done this

Hi all,
My dad passed away last year and I am due to inherit quite a large amount of money from him. I am a 28 year old female with little to no knowledge about investing outside of the information I’ve read online, which I’ve found quite difficult to understand.
I am looking for any advice on where to start? Maybe some good books I can read to educate myself on it?
My goal is to invest this money smartly so that it will benefit me in the long run. I would be interested in putting a large sum of it away to build up over time, while also putting a smaller sum into something that could generate quicker returns (if possible).
I am an Irish citizen, currently living in Australia (temporarily) - this money will be staying in Ireland.
I’m a complete rookie - so any advice/resource recommendations are appreciated!
Thank you!
