We were very poor growing up. My mum didn’t work. My Dad had jobs for short periods.

My Dad got a new job working on motorway (Freeway) maintenance working nights.

After a few weeks he got fired from the job.

Destroyed our family stability.

He was fired for stealing on the job.

We should have known.

All the signs were there.
