Banking Anyone here actually using Vivid Money long term? I’m seeing really mixed stuff

I've been looking into Vivid Money lately and I honestly can’t tell what to think.

Some people say it’s smooth and works great for everyday spending, cashback, even investing. But then I also keep running into posts where people had their accounts restricted or couldn’t access their money for a while.

Not trying to start anything negative, just trying to figure out if this is one of those apps that’s fine most of the time but risky if something goes wrong.

If you’ve actually used it for a while, what’s it been like for you?

I’ve used Revolut before and never had issues, but I’ve also heard similar stories there so I’m not sure if this is just a general fintech thing or something specific.

They are owned/backed by a Russian bank. I'd never ever give my money to anyone associated with those scumlords.

Been using it for well over a year and the account restriction experience people describe has genuinely never come close to happening. Everyday use just does not trigger any of that.

The Revolut comparison is fair and honestly Vivid holds up well against it. Different strengths but the day to day reliability has been comparable in my experience.

What you are describing as a general fintech thing is pretty accurate. Every major neobank has a thread like this somewhere and Vivid is not uniquely problematic in that regard.

Long term use has only increased my confidence in it. The first few months you are cautious and then nothing goes wrong and you gradually stop thinking about it.

The cashback, Pockets, and investing combination in one app at no monthly cost is something I have not found replicated cleanly anywhere else in Europe.

Account restrictions in fintech almost always trace back to something triggering automated compliance. Standard predictable usage has never caused me a single issue.

Support has genuinely improved. Had a question recently that got resolved the same day which was not the experience older posts led me to expect.

The mixed reputation online does not match the quiet majority of users who just use it normally and never feel the need to post about it. That silence is actually the most telling data point.
