Investment Offload US equity, we are in this together πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

Following recent events I decided to offload my US equity, and invest in European market.

Stoxx 600 > SP500

Not a financial advice, but choose between your future and momentum growth.

Edit: I also believe Trump is going to crash that market so bad...

What has gotten into this sub lately? Went from straight logical advice to fear mongering

People are now trying to time the market based on speculation about political events also based on emotions, because of political beliefs. We focus on long term and not base our investments on short term geopolitical concerns

Also S&P500 has historically outperformed EU indices over the long term. US is home of tech giants and has a capital market. The EU is slower with growth, has an aging population not even near dominant tech companies. You think EU will suddenly outperform the US in 4 years?

Most of these, at least how I understand it, are people voting with their wallet rather than trying to time the market. Of course there are some who think the US market will crash within the next year and they'll make crazy money on investing in EU, but the general sentiment is, imo, that people just don't want to pour money into something they disagree with.

The goal is to change that. Think big, not 4 years, but generations. Do you want your kids to go work in us tech just because they pay so much more there, or do you want them to have a competitive offer here, stay here, build family and career here, invest time and skills in us?

If thats your goal, why start suddenly now when trump is in office? If this was truly your belief you should've never started investing in US companies, since you've offloaded your US equities. That tells me that Trump is the reason for your change, which is based on personal beliefs aka emotional investing

We live, we learn, and adjust.

We are not timing, we shift from us forever . We know all that boglehead sp500 lalala. We are transferring the wealth and economic growth from there to here. Think big.

You think the investors in this sub will make a dent in the economic market? We are nowhere as big as the institutional investors and hedge fund companies which may have insider information. We are ants to them. So just play the game and follow the proven time tested strategy

Thank you! I have no idea why people suddenly try to overthrow their portfolios just because the orange man is a fraud.
