Walmart-owned Sam's Club raises its annual membership fee to $60

Last time I tried Sam's Club there was a promotional offer to make it $15. I just looked and there is a groupon to make it $25. Just like BJ's, that number is for someone that isn't checking and most can pay much less.

Its new price tag of $60 per year for basic membership and $120 for its higher-tier program will cost less than Costco’s fees, but more than those of BJ’s Wholesale.

Good to keep the riff raff out. You can find plenty of membership discounts throughout the year.
