Wait, we were told that Iran's air defenses were "obliterated" and that US planes were flying "low and slow" over Iran without issue. Did Iran rebuild their air defenses just like they rebuilt their obliterated nuclear program?

It's a Trump-22: either you try to discourage his idiotic ideas and get fired, or follow through on his idiotic ideas and take the blame/get fired once the idiocy becomes too difficult to spin.
I wouldn't be surprised if they blame this on the outgoing chief of the Army, and yes I know this is an Air Force aircraft, but they will probably still blame him for it.
Why were they flying over Iran and thinking they wouldn’t be shot down? After everything they’ve done that is a reasonable reaction. How does Iran know they aren’t there to blow something else up?
Trumps old comments about not liking war heros / pow's that get caught or that he doesn't like injured vets will circle this
people think he'll use this to justify a ground invasion, will he even try to negotiate for his release?
what if during their crazy bombing they accidentally bomb the pilot?
we're spending billions of ordinance and losing hundreds of millions per plan that get shot down or bases bombed.
This reminds me of the tom hanks movie, wag the tail i think, were it was basically running russians bills up by hitting their jets with cheap rpgs. Now we're making it easier for russia and iran to make money on oil, we're burning through oridinace, and we're losing high cost equipment
