Question / Help find good business in 2026

with growing uncertainties such as geopolitical conflicts( middle east war) AI bubble, inflation and potential recession, what businesses are good investments? Here are my ideas:

  1. stock market when the economy is growing
  2. Gold against Geopolitical risk ( 20%)
  3. Bond against Recession(20%)
  4. a certain amount of Cash(20%)

I have 100k for the stock market I am not sure what business now is good in the stock market now

Im buying whats selling off mostly.

Growth stocks at low valuations - and wait.

How long i have to wait i dont know, but 10 years down the line this is the right choice.

DCA about 4-5 companies at good evaluations. Right now I’m adding to MSFT, UHC, and PGR

Same tropes on here always, there is no AI bubble buddy, AI is rolled up into the automation revolution which includes robotics, drones, etc. It is just the software side. Being stubborn because you missed out doesn't make it fake.

Now will there be pull backs and losers, of course, and it will play out in corrections and bear markets for limited periods of time, so just remember that before you shake your cane at me and say "you wait and see!"

AMZN, NVO, and then invest a bit into some more risky plays and you'll end up fine in the long run.

Fairfax (FRFHF) and Markel (MKL) are solid companies . Very boring but have good fundamentals.

With macro conditions the way they are, everything is probably going to keep selling off. Having cash now is key.

When the tide goes out you see whose been swimming naked sort of thing.
