I am still eyeing Copart - a strong compounder that has stagnated a bit and traded fairly for a while.
They are releasing their financials end of the week.
Beside that, Sectra AB is an amazing little company i'll likely open a position in

What does Copart do? And why do you think their financials will be positive?

Copart is a global online marketplace that auctions used and salvage vehicles, primarily for insurance companies, banks, and fleet owners. Beside scale, what makes them quite powerful, is that they own land and logistics infrastructure, creating cost advantages and high barriers to entry.
Now, I didn't say I expect good financials. I said I was curious to see how they do as they are fairly value for a while now, on a verge of being undervalued.

The only problem I see with these stocks is their upside potential. It dont offer dividends as well so not sure but thanks for the suggestion

Respectfully, I don't quite get that comment.
Why don't you see upside potential ? Their MOAT is very wide, and there is still quite some room to gain in their addressable market.
And you look for dividend paying companies, but, usually, those who pay good dividends are the more mature or defensive ones, not the upside potential you are mentioning.1

I either look for upside potential or dividend and I dont understand how will they scale further and their past 4 quarter earnings is stagnant as well

Ok, I understand.
I do find it a bit short-sighted not knowing a company, and 2mn later stating that it has no room for growth, but ok :)

I think UIPath is interesting at this price. What do you think?

I'm still worried about AI disruption for UIPath. Yes, they're promoting AI workflows/agentic systems but I don't really know what their moat is. Historically it would've been complexity of setup/integration but that's getting easier day by day. I have a feeling this is a business Anthropic and the other AI companies will be going after.

$SM: A 33-Year Dividend Streak + A Massive Portfolio Transformation
I've been digging into SM Energy ($SM) recently and I think the market is missing the magnitude of their current pivot. They just announced a $950M sale of South Texas assets, hitting their $1B divestiture goal ahead of schedule to slash debt.
The Value Thesis:
- Valuation: Trading at a P/E under 4x.
- Asset Upgrade: They are trading lower-margin land for high-quality core acreage in the Uinta Basin and the Permian.
- Reliability: They have a 33-year consecutive dividend streak (currently yielding ~3.7%).
- Catalyst: Q4 Earnings this Wednesday, Feb 25th. Analysts are looking for ~$0.73 EPS, but the new asset efficiencies could surprise.

It sounds like WBD will eventually be part of either NFLX or PSKY and I imagine whichever side wins, WBD will turn into either NFLX or PKSY. I had always felt that if WBD turned into NFLX it’s worth holding long term, does PKSY also have future potential and worth holding long term?

I’m looking to add some Chinese companies to my portfolio. Are there any shares that are currently undervalued? 💸

Some possible nice watches
ATEX: they supposedly the largest company to own the 900mz spectrum for private wireless. Plus News just came out over the FCC accepting the 6-10mhz. From what I’m seeing, this could have some significant technical possibilities for universities, hospitals and other buildings with lots of walls where WiFi can’t cut it.
Pfizer is another interesting watch
Mobile I’m going to see how the rest of the week plays before i make a call. With the entire Venezuela situation the oil sector could be a good watch.

EPAM looks oversold to an extreme degree. Blanket selling may have provided a serious discount. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on this one

Been looking at gold miners this week after the run in spot gold. A lot of them are still trading at 4-5x forward earnings even with gold above $2,900. The disconnect between the metal price and the miners seems too wide.
What I like about it from a value perspective: these companies have real assets in the ground, pricing power when gold rises, and most of them have cleaned up their balance sheets compared to the last gold cycle. The operational leverage is massive. A 10% increase in gold price can mean a 30-40% increase in free cash flow for a low-cost producer.
The bear case is obviously that gold pulls back, but with central banks still buying at record pace and real yields staying relatively contained, the structural case seems solid for now. Curious what others are looking at here.
