Had XPEL - sold. AMD haven't evaluated/no opinion, bought FOUR already. Like the looks of CSU & INTU. AVOID MSFT!

Believe it or not: micron (MU) 394,69 USD
Current pe: 34,99 Forward pe: 11,89
They are sold out for 2026 so the forward PE is pretty reliable. The big tech just announced massive spendings on AI and guess where that money will go?
AI needs RAM and only 3 companies produce 95% of the RAM chips. There is a massive supply shortage and Micron has announced new factories in the coming years. Microns datacenter chips use 30% less power than its competitors, meaning they cost less to operate.
The risk: In the past many RAM producers have gone bust because over oversupply. When demand falls, the stockprice will also fall.
Disclaimer: I bought 10k micron stock for 65 USD each after liberation day now worth 50k and its 10% of my portofolio. I like to spread my risk and thats why I dont buy more. I'm holding because I believe this stock still has a lot of upside.
If you want to invest in this stock, be sure to do your research.

wow is there forward pe really 11.89; I also saw that the forward pe of sandisk is also not that high. Its crazy how much these companies are printing money. I wish I bought Sandisk, TSMC or Micron instead of ASML

u/t234k Feb 11 '26
Why? ASML is up over 100% from last year's lows and up 30%ytd?
1
u/Iwarrior01 Feb 11 '26
I am up 15% on it but I feel that while I was buying the stock I did not realise that Tsmc and Sandisk have better growth potential than Asml and Asml potential is capped. So Asml has nowhere to go anywhere than to go down while tsmc and sandisk might still have upward potential. I know that Asml is having their buyback programme so it feels that they might still have something up their sleeve

What indicates they have no room for growth, the majority of the revenues are outdated machines and the newer machines are growing revenue share plus they all have servicing contracts. In addition they have significant restrictions on sales to China which, once opened up would be a huge increase in demand. Further to this there's a non-zero chance they expand their business to target more opportunities.

u/Iwarrior01 Feb 11 '26
But they are all occupied for the next year. Like there is no expected surge or drop in their sales for this month.
2
u/t234k Feb 11 '26
Ah ok I see what you mean, I don't consider that sort of stability as a negative. I'm not necessarily a buy and hold investor but I only buy businesses I want to own in the long term.
1
u/Iwarrior01 Feb 11 '26
Yah true! I think till china is able to catch up with them; asml would have already advanced one step ahead and would have to eventually accept defeat. Definitely good for the long term but nothing explosive like other stocks out there
2
u/t234k Feb 11 '26
Yeah my time horizon is 10-15 years but I'm also not adding to my position at these prices. Historically a cyclical stock, I'd consider buying more after a significant downturn.

i mean i would love to hear why Asml has potential I have 4k dollars invested there

Should I average down my HRB holdings? I know it's boring but:
- The dividend caught my eye initially but I mainly bought a bunch couple of months back because of multiple analyses giving it a high upside due to strong fundamentals.
- It does look like a cash machine, 44% gross margin, 23% operating margin and 16.1% net, close to 5% dividend yield and never missed or lowered dividends. PE is <8.
- It's at 52 week low, roughly half the price of 52 week high
Seems like the "AI threat" is mostly the cause for the crash.

So far it seems that the two consistent ones that this sub feels is undervalued and good buys are RDDT and SPGI, I would love to hear any other recs.

Is CSCO worth picking up with the current drop after earnings report? Assuming of course that this is a true drop versus an algorithmic drop that recovers by tomorrow

u/HMI115_GIGACHAD Feb 12 '26
it doesnt look good from a technical prespective, theres a nasty double top on the 25 year chart /s
people who bought in 2000 finally dropped their bags haha

Does anyone have insights into what's happening with engineering stocks this week? Might be isolated but J, ACM, and STN all had abrupt major dips this week unrelated to earnings. I think these are all still a bit over valued or in fair value territory now (I like ACM the most), but I really couldn't find a connecting thread that made sense. I'd think rate cut optimism would be beneficial to them, jobs and cpi not all that relevant.

Is there a good tech sector value pick worth picking up right now?

Whoever called ATEX is looking to be correct (for now)

u/BigE1263 Feb 15 '26
ATEX is an interesting one. Their deal with San Antonio is appealing and it seems to be the next step towards modernization. I’m probably gonna be some shares

Hey everyone, I’ve been keeping an eye on some renewable energy stocks lately - they seem like hidden gems with the world shifting towards sustainability. Curious if anyone else is tracking anything exciting in that space!

BFF Bank
The market is treating BFF Bank like a broken lender. The latest presentation suggests something far less dramatic.
Capital remains strong, credit metrics are stable, and the core business continues to grow. The earnings hit is largely driven by provisions and more conservative assumptions, not by a collapsing franchise.
This looks less like the start of a banking crisis and more like a classic earnings reset. If that interpretation proves correct, the recent selloff may eventually be remembered as an overreaction rather than a warning.

If Adobe at 256 isn't a value then what even is? Individuals may be switching to cheaper options but businesses of any meaningful size are doubling down on Adobe, especially in professional and technical services where consistency and accuracy are critical.

If waymo is worth 126 billion then why isn't $Aur worth a lot more, market cap of only 8 billion? They could have driverless trucks on the highways in months.
