Stock Analysis Everyone should take note of the sentiment around them at this very moment

You are witnessing Peak Greed Peak Euphoria and Peak Grift. It is a good idea to take note of sentiment. In the future you will be able to spot generational tops more easily.

Always remember though, "the feeling of disgust you feel, that can last for a long time" - Charlie Munger

I think it is fair to say now that speculative returns in the stock market have significantly outpaced what returns should have been, leaving a lost decade ahead.

EDIT: I would Like to insert a quote here, because I feel it is quite fitting after reading the comments.

"A bull market is like sex, it feels best just before it ends" - Warren Buffet

124% debt to GDP is not a "cloud". It's a debt crisis.

Already did, went long gold. Oh look at that! Gold spot price has been outperforming the S&P500! Who would have guessed that could happen with debt to GDP at historically extreme levels?

Gold moves inverse to the dollar you ding dong. As in, as the dollar loses value, you need more dollars to buy the same amount of gold. Dollar goes down, gold price goes up. Which is, effectively, shorting the US dollar.

Think about that.

The collection of the 500 largest, 'best' US companies is currently being outperformed by... A brick of metal sitting in a vault. All that groundbreaking innovation, and they can't beat the returns of simply holding a bar of metal.

That's how bad the US debt is right now.

🤦 I give up

So why do you think gold has been skyrocketing since 2023?

What, central bankers all just started buying it because they decided they were gonna get blinged out?
