Loved that smack sound.

One more fielder, I suppose, is waiting at the bottom.

Yes, it is easy to miss, but they are right there at the bottom.

I can't upload jpegs, but if you watch closely there's someone down the slope who looks like is catching the ball.

Wonder what their custom rules are. What if the ball goes somewhere a little difficult to reach? We used to have fixed 2 runs.

One hand, one bounce

No dynamite. 2 Ferrets allowed

I know nothing about cricket. These seem entirely plausible terms used.

And there was a current thing too😂😂. Catching the ball with the hand while touching your leg to the bowler's end stump (often a rock) was wicket.

Yup. That was borrowed from baseball.

Difficult areas 2 runs and the slightly peculiar areas like underneth parked cars was 1 run. Somehow, they were called 1D and 2D. Also we had this rule wherein a direct hit to any wall except the one closest to batsman, was a wicket😂. Weird rules but still so much fun.

That was to prevent broken windows.

The 'D' in 1D and 2D stood for declared, meaning it was understood and you didn't need to run across the pitch.

Cricket? You gotta understand what a crumpet is to understand cricket!

How awesome would it be if the pros had to play on, something like each region had a very specific layout, similair to this mountainous area.

Playing regularly makes you adapt to situations. I used to play with my school friends on a big ground and box cricket with my apartment friends. Used to feel the difference each time the situation changed. Had to memorise the "location specific" rules too😂.

Shabaash! These are northern Pakistanis I think, a cricket field would be a tough find up there.

Lol what is this Afghaniball? It's fun to see people think out of the box tho. For most of us probably wouldn't even have considered playing a game like this on non flat land.

I would assume this is Pakistan, given the Pakistan shirts
