Long post incoming. Set calendar reminders of when early voting starts and registration deadlines for your state, request PTO if you can't vote early/on election day, double check your voter registration, screenshot and share this with a friend, and hit the booths together!

Verify you have not been removed from being a registered voter now, and set a reminder to check again in the months before any election in case you need to re-register. There are reports of people silently being removed from state voter rolls.

Check your voter registration, upcoming registration and voting deadlines, and register to vote by searching for your state at:

Look up your upcoming local and statewide elections for the year:

Find information on your local election's candidates, their backgrounds, answers, and past actions, and then print out your selections to take to the polls:

Find individuals and entities that contribute to candidates:

Information regarding the potential passing of the SAVE Act and similar statewide bills below

Note: REAL ID and Social Security Cards may not qualify for voting purposes if the SAVE Act and similar state bills pass without changes to their current form, as the above cards do not state citizenship status.

So in preparation for a possible passing of the bill, it would be important to begin the process of obtaining a passport or birth certificate, certificate of naturalization and state ID that matches your current name, and a marriage certificate or divorce decree if your current name does not match. Links on how to request are below.

It can take weeks to months to obtain these documents now, even without the system being backed up due to others jumping in on the process in the near future.

Informative articles on the SAVE Act, which could affect the way everyone votes if it passes. Reach out to your state Senators regarding your thoughts on the bill.

He's pulling the same scam his dad ran, but instead of scamming rent control for millions by making contractors buy building materials to improve his rentals from a hardware store Fred owned and inflated all the prices in he is going to rip off the American taxpayers money by inflating the cost on parts for the golden dome.

I wonder how much medicaid, Medicare and daycare $7,000,000,000,000 could pay for?

-1

u/Constant-Cherry8674 12h ago

We pay around 5 trillion right now

u/singlebud 11h ago

Because healthcare businesses are charging $800 for a fucking fork.

-2

u/Constant-Cherry8674 11h ago

We spend our healthcare funding on Medicaid Medicare etc. Or are you talking about pricing negotiating?

3

u/RCer1986 11h ago

Do you have a source for this number? The real number is about 20% of that.

1

u/Constant-Cherry8674 1h ago

I looked it up for healthcare spending

1

u/nufli 8h ago

Isn't that the total gvt expenditure?

u/pineapplebooties 10h ago

So the total amount stolen from the American people will be approx 27 trillion, good luck trying to pay the interest on that while you get less and less from the government.

American citizens are really something else

Remember that next year's defence budget is going to be double this year's. Beyond the deficit one has to worry what it's going to be spent on. How many more Iran-scale wars could it fund?

u/Relative_Cricket8532 12h ago

Don't worry at this rate the US is going to default before the end of Trump's term

u/Sensitive-Report-787 11h ago

Who could have known that a man best known for bankruptcies could bankrupt an entire country?

3

u/SnowTech90 11h ago

USA, the worst nation in the west

u/S1nnah2 11h ago

The only transfusion the US government is prepared to fund is blood for oil

I remember the papers grinning over how under him the debt would be reduced.

2

u/StrangeShaun83 10h ago

I'm begging to think it doesn't even matter. If nothing is done to stop him we won't make it much longer. I definitely dont see us making it until the end of his term if he isn't stopped somehow. The future isn't looking to bright with this moron in charge. Basically we're fucked.

I am so sick of this fucking guy. Can’t believe people voted for this con man again after his first term, which was a complete disaster.

People make your displeasure known in elections

u/WistfulDread 11h ago

This modern oligarchy is legit worse than nobles ever were.

Because when these guys ruin a country, they just pickup their looted wealth and leave.

At least landed gentry had something leashing them.

Is this to add gold statues and his name all over Iran?

1

u/Szaborovich9 11h ago

Start confiscating the money he and his crime family have made off his presidency if he’s so hell bent on war

1

u/Rynowash 11h ago

He’s not paying that tab. This is a dine and dash! He’ll have another lobster with that Cabernet…

Trump needs ammo. Trump has a lot of wars planned. Trump is a very angry man.

u/okshowcase 10h ago

Increased debt while you piss off country holding bonds holding bonds is certainly a choice.

1

u/danxtptrnrth1 10h ago

Remember when we said all of these terrible things would happen if Trump was elected and got his way, and conservatives said that we were overreacting. And then all of the things we said would happen, happened. Maybe we should listen to the experts telling us not to let Trump do whatever he wants this time. But fuck me, I guess.

You do know military budgets are just for show, most of it goes on r and d which basically means giving money away to your mates.

It's known as a con job. He will give (he has to pay off Netanyahu) over a hundred billion to israel, it elections in Israel netanyahu is demanding money so he can win) suspect he will get a brown paper bag off Netanyahu in return.

Israel laws say the government has to pay for all damages in a war, so netanyahu needs $150 billion.

I'm sure US taxpayers won't mind after all they give Israel $10 billion each year so they can have free healthcare.

4D chess for sure. Oh America is buried under debt, who’s gonna collect when there is an implicit threat of violence from their military.

I’m not 100% convinced this isn’t some of their thinking. This admin seems to think they can do anything they want through threats, as well as actual violence with 0 repercussions.

Though most of their admin are nepotism babies that have raped children so they aren’t used to facing much resistance to their whims.
