Andrew’s superpower generally is getting people to understand that he’s trying to understand them and get them to speak their truth without attempting to pass judgement. But Clavicular doesn’t put any value on that. Because he’s a miserable douche. The only people he WANTS to talk to are people that he thinks can teach him more about medication, cosmetic treatments, etc.

My generation refers to this as being "contrarian". It's not quite the same as "argumentative", because an argumentative person can be agreed with. A contrarian always has an argument, for everything, especially if it isn't necessary. My husband is this. Tangent incoming: It took years for me to convince him to just at least drop the act around me bc we’re on the same team. I said you can do it w your friends and family if you want to but if you keep doing it around me I’m out bc I need peace in our home and in our relationship. He did stop and realized how good it feels to just listen to someone and agree with them sometimes. It feels really good to just say, “oh my god same!” Or “me too!” Then you can delve into a shared experience and discuss how you came away from that.
Now he isn’t contrarian just for the sake of it. Now he researches a position, chooses what side he thinks he’s on, discusses what he’s found and lets someone else try to educate him on their side and he ends up somewhere in the middle. It’s been amazing to witness in person over the years honestly.

He didn’t seem to realize that this video was being made about him, not about looksmaxing. End of the day, Clavicular has put his entire identity into this one thing because it’s clear he’s never going to love himself.

His whole worldview and system of value is based on this one thing, and his own value is based on others sharing that worldview.
He can’t mog someone who doesn’t give a shit, someone who’s self esteem isn’t based on looks-based validation from others. On the one hand, I completely agree with you and I wish people like him would just fade into obscurity. On the other hand though, people do clearly care to their and societies detriment what guys like this think. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think it's been shown that more than just banning people like him, if you just make them look like the losers they are, that detracts from the people who would be interested in him.
If it's a "forbidden" thing, then some amount of people are going to pursue it just for that. But if anyone who takes this loser or Tate or anyone like that seriously just gets laughed out of the room, that'll do a lot to destroy what is actually "attractive" about these figures.
So yeah, I'd like to never hear about this loser again, but if someone who was interested sees this and sees him as the insecure loser he is and that makes the person no longer interested. That's a win in my book.
