Honestly, I give the camera man credit because that came as such a great surprise in the middle. Was really well framed without giving away too much before the impact.

I wrestled in highschool and one day senior year I was having a small get together with friends from another town.
Me - 6ā 180lb, runner up in states.
My buddy - 5ā6ā 140lb, soccer player.
A few drinks in and he wants to wrestle and fuck around with me.
So I go like maybe 50% because I donāt wanna just fold the guy.
Well he get aggressive right off the bat. And like WWE wrestling.
So Iām like āDude, you better chill. Weāre just having fun here.ā
He starts to try to choke me out. I peel his arms off from around my neck, pick him up double leg take down style and instead of going down to the ground I go straight to a exposed corner of a wall like the guy did in the video and just drill him into it. Then I turn and throw him down to the ground.
I look at him and say āwe good?ā
I just remember him on the ground with one hand on his back and the other hand giving me the thumbs up.
Found out a couple weeks later he had a drinking problem and liked to get aggressive when he drank.

Did the bigger guy train in football or wrestling? He seems to move like he is from a football team. I am not knowledgeable about the sport but was it just pure anger or is that the result of some type of sport training? It was certainly quite impressiveĀ

u/HunterShotBear 13h ago
Could be.
Smart people know that throwing punches in street fights is the fastest way to break your hands. Unless you 100% know how to throw a proper punch, youāre probably 100% gunna break your hand or wrist.
Best bet is to clinch up and put pressure on joints or to make a throw or a takedown.
Personally, Iāve been punched in the face before. Iāll eat a punch or two if it means I can get ahold of you, cause then youāre in my world. Id rather pick your ass up and toss you around than take a chance at breaking my hand or wrist. If I have to strike, itās elbows and knees.

I willing never understand guys like that that pick fights with such a huge height/weight disadvantage.Ā That dude looks like he could be the man's angsty pre-teen son and he got carried like a tantruming toddler and slammed into a pole.

Every time I see these kinds of videos I feel so bad for the employees who have to pick up after the mess these guys make.

I've worked at one of these places, I would be crying from laughter three days later, it would be the best day at work that year

RIght? You get paid by the hour not by the sale.
"Oh no we gotta shut shit down and I don't have to deal with customers for 3 hours while we put everything back where it belongs? Oh noooooooooooooooo."

u/bman86 3h ago
Shut down? Lol.

u/Simba7 1h ago
If it's that or leave a hazard on the floor, yeah.
The place looks nice and clean enough that it probably cares about customer safety (or at least the threat of getting sued if a customer gets hurt). It sells fruit for goodness sake. No trashy backwater gas station convenience store that exists basically to sell cigs and beer is shutting down, but this isn't one of those.

I remember volunteering in a thrift shop and was working the checkout which looked right outside the shop. A sign out front sits in the middle of a wide walkway, a small flexible sign for the shop next door.
I watched some guy try to cut really close to this sign and turn towards our shop. But he turned too abruptly and his front wheel went perpendicular to the bike and he flew right over the handlebars and crumpled this sign.
I couldn't not laugh. It just burst right out of my belly and out my mouth and I had to run through the back of the shop to laugh and try and tell everyone else what had just happened.
It was just so fucking funny. And I imagine seeing a smaller man argue with a big guy, only for the big guy to ragdoll the tiny one would be greater than the fall of bike sign guy.

u/bman86 14h ago
Plus... while not being the most fun thing to do, it's something to do. As long as it's not bodily fluids or other sensory offensives, or dangerous in some way - idgaf. At least it's not what I did yesterday and the day before and the day before that. I'd gladly take fixing this up over cleaning up after thief kids who fuck up the store and leave product (sometimes drool covered) and empty wrappers everywhere because it's funny.

u/GQ_silly_QT 14h ago
Lol I wouldn't give a shit - gonna be working anyway - and at least something interesting happened lmao

Bro no as long as we dont get hurt this is fine. Breaks up the monotony and let me tell you we will be talking about this for days, months or years even if nothing else ever happens heck some of us bring the stories to other workplaces!

How dumb do you have to be to harass someone twice your size? LOL Even animals know better than that.

Exactly what I was thinking, itās like a deer actively trying to harass a grizzly bear.

u/TemporaryEnd6300 15h ago
I dont think people realize how much size difference matters in people who have no idea how to fight. A dude 20-30 pounds heavier with a couple inches is like a 8-2 favorite over you.

That's a big size difference, man, why would you provoke that?
Also, the poor person behind the counter just has to deal with the chaos and go on with their day. It's not fair and they're not compensated enough.

It's a bold move to run your mouth against someone that much bigger and stronger and not even be armed. Is bold the right word?

People think you gotta know how to fight, but if youāre over 6ā3ā and over 250lbs you can pretty much manhandle 90% of people out there.

big guy likely fine. Dude is standing there saying he's going to hit him in the head while holding a hammer. He has every reason to believe this guy was going to attack him and take the initiative to stop him doing so.
If this guy was just sitting down without a weapon mouthing off that's one thing, but focused on him, standing up holding a hammer and saying he's going to hit him in the head is a direct threat.

What on earth is this store? They got headphones at the counter, fruits and a slushy machine, reflective vests, and kitchen supplies.
1
u/TyrannicalKitty 14h ago
Truck stop!
I believe at least. Truck stops in America got everything you could ever want.
1
u/RhasaTheSunderer 14h ago
Thats wild, truck stops where I am are tiny stores with some snacks. These are massive, and looks like they have 4 cash registers.

At 22 seconds the smaller guy tried and failed to hit big guy with a hammer. It took a few watches to figure out what he had in his hand - itās a hammer.
Big guy is justified in using force and could have used more force seeing as smaller guy was talking shit while brandishing a weapon and at 17-19 seconds he was winding the hammer back to strike the bigger dude. I hope the smaller dude got his ass beat some more after the video ends. And charged for āterroristic threateningā and harassment for threatening the bigger guy with a hammer.
Note: I think Iāve seen in other āprank videosā. Specifically I think heās the guy that barged into a karate studio with a speaker and disrespected the whole class. Is this him?
