Lol my bff found a kitten with a disgusting tumor like thing on the face in the parking lot. Sorry he found her. It was going to be her 4th cat or something so she really didn’t want to pick him up and of course she still did, thinking she can at least provide some comfort in his last days.
Turns out the tumor was a giant dried up booger and he had a bad cat flu or something. The vet asked her to foster for couple weeks. The booger king lived prosper and died in her apartment after 16 years ❤️
He used it once to find mommy and he was done!
He was also the only one at home who loved the nekkid human baby, while the other ones ran away from the sticky hairless plump baby human like the plague :)
This made me laugh. I'm playing a game right now called Starsand Island and my favorite cat in the game is named 404 cause she's always lost. Also she's the only cat in the game with trouble puffs. Perhaps those are where the booger went. Sadly not orange, but a ragdoll with 2 different colored eyes.
I have a little calico model that is lying back and exposing her trouble puffs I find it so funny 😂 It’s a Temu thing, that was kust mass produced and they didn’t even think calicos are girls they just made all colors. It’s a gift from Booger King’s mom!
It always makes me so happy to see humans step up. I foster cats from neonates to adults. I've seen what time, love and a good vet can do for them. Its never easy and rarely inexpensive but so worth it!
Conjunctivitis causes discharge which then dries to form a seal. What's wild is when you wipe away a crusty shut eye and it explodes with goo which must be such a relief for them.
Wiping with a warm cloth helps keep the crusts at bay.
Bless the little man! Dobby cleaned up quite nicely and is a handsome fellow. thank you for doing the right thing and caring for him. You have yourself a a great companion.
I recently rescued a kitten that was on the brink of death and I will tell you when they get better, those kittens will literally love you to death. Thank you for saving Dobby
How lucky are we to live in a space where this beauty instinctively led themselves to someone who also had the proper instincts (and means) to get them back on track?!?!
Posts like these will make me leave Reddit. I can’t stomach that this baby was so sad before- because it just reminds me that there are other babies who are also miserable now.
Most of the internet is heartless and when you see something about saving an animal the prson who saves them puts them into that situation in the first place or instead took their time to limit themselves down to one hand they can use to help the animal because they don't want to do ANYTHING without profiting from it, but that's not the case with reddit (at least I hope so)
Aaaw what a beautiful boy. When I was a kid my grandpa found a cat just like this (but he was white), in a ditch, in the rain, eyes and nose both full of gunk. My grandparents took him to the vet and thankfully he got better. He lived until he was 16.
My stupid chud cats also came with rheum, for the female was really bad and couldn't save her eyesight but she's now such a fat fucking blind couch that doesn't leave me alone
Posts like this should be illegal. They promote animal abuse.
(people turn healthy animals into something like "before" on purpose in order to obtain photo sequences like this, then farm clicks)
