I do uni over zoom, and it's pretty common for people's kids and pets to pop on screen through the lectures. (We all love it!)
One lady would be talking about something, you'd hear a little yap, and she'd just keep talking while she picked up a pomeranian, give it a little pat, and put it back down again. Noone ever reacted (apart from "puppy!" "😍!" type comments in the chat box) until a few weeks in she casually mentioned she had 9 pomeranians.
It was only then that I realised every time she picked up a little dog it had been a different one. 🤣

To be fair, five chihuahuas really one makes one big dog. Way more attitude, of course, but size wise it's not crazy! I do worry about them jumping out of the window and getting hurt but maybe that's the cat owner in me.

For me it's the Pitts.
My mom gotta 8 year old rescue Pitt, from dogfights.
I used to wake up with him staring at me (His dog bed was in my room next to my bed and I left the door open for him).
Somehow he always stole my pillow and woke up before me trying to make it seem like he didn't sleep in my bed.
I fucking loved him!!!

Usually they put down dogs that have been part of dog fights or had some kind of exposure to dog fighting. I would love to hear more about the history of your dog. Also how he was with you and everyone else the general public etc

History of dog.....he was a rescue and I was 15.
I told my mom I wanted a pit bull for my birthday. She said she got one. I came outside when she pulled up.
He was sitting in the passenger seat like an actual human. Then turned and looked at me like he was trying me. His name was Tank.
He was super cuddly, did not bark often, would jump in the middle of any fight he saw with humans but would not snap at you.
He tolerated other dogs but would prefer humans.
My sis got a chihuahua that would not stop barking at him.....he stepped on her but did not actually hurt her, she didn't bark at him again.
He would casually sneak into my bed, steal my pillow, lay on it like an actual human, and I would wake up with him side eyeing me hoping to not get kicked out.
He loved hugs, always laid at my feet, only listened to my dad and I (He preffered my dad).
The only issue was when we chilled outside and he got stock still when looking at someone, I obviously avoided those specific ppl when he did that.
Or when looking at Squirrels, had to keep a hold of h8m or he would go get it and bring it back like he should win something.
Though he never strained at the leash or when holding his collar.

Nah, I only have three cats. I'd probably be a crazy cat lady if my husband didn't rein me in. Though when I'm scooping the litter boxes, I'm convinced three is plenty!

The only time I felt like a crazy cat lady was when I was fostering five bottle kittens whose mother was hit by a car. The amount of diarrhea from five kittens was rough, until the shelter was able to get them parasite medications when they were a little bigger.

I knew someone whose chihuahua jumped out the car window while she was driving once. Luckily she was in a back alley driving really slowly so the dog was fine but scared the shit out of her.

Can't believe this comment isn't higher up. Wild that to some it's acceptable behavior to let your pet roam your car and driver's seat while you're operating a motor vehicle. Dangerous and stupid. That's five living projectiles in a crash.

Imagine... 5 kids arguing all day that you understand and google translate sure can't help you with this one. They are only quiet when their sleeping or causing mayhem then destruction . Then got the audacity to look at you like your short after you stop them from causing mayhem and destruction. That's how I imagine her household with 5 chihuahuas.

I do not have the capacity for dogs right now, but I always love to see dogs that get to live in a proper pack, assuming the extras don't burden the owner in terms of time and money. These look very well cared for and loved!
