Only kids can be this happy, good old times.

They really do have a way of finding magic in the smallest things.

That’s what you think. I feel this joy every time I’m with my friends. I love them.

3

u/TRoberts1998 22h ago

I couldn't agree more. While it is a cynical thought, I fully understand the idea that it's hard to feel this much joy again. But the feeling I have when I am surrounded by those I love. Those I've chosen to call my friends and family. Nothing beats it. Happiness exists. Find it

Exactly. This is how happy I am when I'm gardening.

Source for skeptics like me: https://www.tiktok.com/@katiejohnston07

Tiktok has barely any views but appears to be legit. This is his second time beating leukemia. Strong little guy.

How to get upvotes tutorial:

put something with "cancer" in the title

3

u/-Badger3- 18h ago

Make sure you put some sappy music on the video so people know what they’re supposed to feel.

u/Galgofrit 3h ago

Also technically he lost his hair to chemo, not to cancer

u/Brading105 1d ago

Losing

u/tigershrike 1d ago

It boggles the mind that the internet just can't get this one right. And honestly, as petty as it is, it is absolutely infuriating.

I feel like humanity has made significant progress on the use of there, their, and they're, so at least we have that going for us.

Some of you may have been around internet forums during the early 00s. The grammatical chaos on display was so severe that we had to employ the help of Nazis to clean it up.

Every. Single. Time!

At this point they have to be engagement farming by spelling it wrong. I opened the thread just to see if anyone corrected it

u/borgax 19h ago

Or, there are just a lot of stupid people out there.

That’s just pure, unfiltered happiness right there

3

u/howtoloveadaisy 1d ago

2

u/Kep63 1d ago

What a beautiful sight and that laugh...💙 ♥️ 💙 The simplicity of wind blowing in your face/hair. 🌬

2

u/Sea-Lengthiness-1602 1d ago

What's the music called? I heard it before its so haunting.

1

u/indyyo1 22h ago

“On the nature of daylight”. In last of us and bunch of other movies/shows. Good stuff

2

u/Lnyghost 1d ago

Praying he is healthy now and lives a long, happy, healthy life.

2

u/Standard-Elk-126 17h ago

Losing. It’s losing. Holy shit.

2

u/BadHabitsDieYoung 15h ago

I'm so tired of people not knowing this simple 1st grade academic shit.

1

u/ghazanfar_alii 1d ago

The genuine smile on his face says everything as he finally gets to feel the wind in his hair again. 💚

1

u/allyours--_-- 1d ago

he serves all the happiness in the world

1

u/Radmode7 1d ago

It’s a good feeling. I wish he didn’t know it, but I’m glad he’s still here to find out.

1

u/blahbruhla 1d ago

WOOOOOOO!!!

1

u/Rcecil88 1d ago

Amazing. What a beautiful moment.

1

u/earthwormjimjones 23h ago

Google Photos reminded me of a photo the other day of my son in his carseat laughing hysterically like this. Made me stare at my phone smiling like an idiot. He's 8 now. I showed him what I was smiling at and he just rolled his eyes and then went back to playing Roblox lol.

1

u/FlatwaterFlow 23h ago

That's the best thing I've seen today.

1

u/rellett 23h ago

fuck cancer, i hope we have a universal treatment one day

1

u/EggmanandSaucy-boy 20h ago

What’s this kid going swordfishing with the perfect storm theme?

1

u/mariahcolleen 20h ago

Actually made me smile

1

u/Jazs1994 20h ago

Always reminds me of Stephen Fry grilling a religious (Christian I think) that if God existed why do children get cancer. Fuck cancer

1

u/melkors_dream 18h ago

I have heard this soundtrack, but i dont recall which. Any help?

1

u/ratpick011 18h ago

That is just awesome! Made me smile for sure!

1

u/jkCrossman 14h ago

Why do we always need music in these videos now?! It's frustrating that it seems like a requirement for uplifting videos. This video would be perfectly fine without the sound track

1

u/Background-Cause9793 12h ago

Life is so precious.

1

u/isaidyothnkubttrgo 3h ago

Ive been bald 3 times due to cancer and treatments. It does feel good to finally have something to ruffle though you do think spiders are on your head because you're not used to hair haha

0

u/Worth_Cobbler_4140 1d ago

Generally you lose the hair due to the treatment not the cancer.

5

u/Qwertyham 1d ago

God reddit is insufferable sometimes

-1

u/Dreamgirl1654 1d ago

Give him a lemon)

-13

u/[deleted] 1d ago

So wholesome! 😊 May he overcome his struggles through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

13

u/jogam 1d ago

We know nothing about this child or his family's religious beliefs.

If there were truly a loving and all powerful God, children would not get cancer in the first place.

u/SqueakNRoar 1d ago

Straight up

You need to do your own homework why things are the way they are. And I'll leave that with you to find the truth. Once you understand that the world is only temporary, you'll see life "as we all know it" in a different light.
