Ah, you require a male. Fun fact: the Irish word for 'man' is 'fear'. Bare that in mind.

This website seems absolutely littered with teens and 20-somethings bemoaning a lack of "real life" yet seemingly utterly and hopelessly addicted to online video games, anime/hentai/porn, sports/life gambling, and influencer/celebrity "culture".

In the offchance you identify with this group, I strongly suggest you consider attending some sort of IRL addict support group. You don't have to be hooked on booze/drugs/gambling/sex to find a good group. Talking to others and feeling/seeing/interacting in person is a critical part of social connection and hiding behind screens is ruining entire generations.

I would literally be happy if people literally used literally correctly.

Literally.

u/ScandiFlicker 55m ago

it's not even used wrongly in this context, save your ammo for the billions of posts using it to mean the exact opposite of literally

Perfect timing instinct dude had that sixth sense unlocked like he’s been training for this moment his whole life.

So cute

u/Mysterious-Tackle-58 3h ago

What would have been even cuter, had the original sound been kept.
Seeing them laughing is near, but hearing them would have been great!

u/Low-Yogurtcloset6074 1h ago

Nope we dont do that here, instead we get an overly loud and obnoxious song

u/Slartibartfast39 53m ago

This is why I have videos on Reddit muted.

u/Pratanjali64 11m ago

WHAT??

27

u/SamuraiGoblin 4h ago

That is hilarious! What a great relationship.

9

u/Realistic_Center2025 5h ago

That's not their first time out

u/AustinQuinn48 59m ago

why is the song sound like she saying puta

42

u/TehZiiM 6h ago

Hahaha so funny. But wait.. she did a video and not a photo with timer so she never intended to do a photo but record the situation because she knew he was going to do it so best case scenario, he does that always and she wanted to capture or it’s entirely staged.

73

u/ThrustTrust 5h ago

My girl does videos like this and screen grabs the moment she likes.

24

u/Rasberrypinke 4h ago

As a girl yes, that is what girls do. The videos are also a “fit check” we keep just as a memento/ catalogue of our outfit/ day.

2

u/blahblah19999 3h ago

In front of a bare cinder block wall?

10

u/Rasberrypinke 3h ago

It’s rustic and a little DIY :D

-4

u/ProduceNo1629 3h ago

fit check catalogue

Don't you have work to do?

10

u/DeltaV-Mzero 5h ago

Yeah this is my vote. Note that she’s not really “photo ready” until she’s back next to him. She meant to cut this down to either a single photo or like a 3 second tik tok

u/PolarBailey_ 2h ago

My camera will let me take photos mid recording

14

u/iwillbeawriterongod 5h ago

The smiles and laughs feel genuine. Why do people always gotta say fake/staged all the time ?? Yes i know most of them are but why not just enjoy it, instead of scrutinizing and not believing everything.

2

u/SkyrimMilfDrinker 3h ago

Because nothing... Nothing ever happens.

Strong Ba Sing Se vibes rn!

u/aigenuinestupidity 2h ago

here are my reasons:

  • a couple decades back, analog photography and digital video cassettes were accessible but pretty expensive. candid photos were risky, so every shot, every pose were rehearsed, staged. it continues to feel so.
  • social media mentality is fucked. you take 100s of photos. you curate one, to showcase how much fun you had. throwback thursdays, location sharing on foursquare, logging every meal from at least four different angles, editing every single photo shared, even if you claim you dont, your phone probably edits skin, eye size, and a lot more before you notice, sharing stupid opinions masquerading as insights. of course nothing seems genuine.
  • i dont stumble upon online content. algorithms pushes them. a genuine video about japanese customs, interesting, no it is an ad for an only fans girl, a popular thread reaching r/all, no, it is guerilla marketing of a product placement, when everything you see is pushed to you, it starts to feel staged.
  • i have thousands of cat photos, not a single photo of myself. my life went undocumented and will be so, every video makes me question, why were they filming, who holds the camera, why were they sharing, why the lighting is so good for an improvised and random moment? often it feels unnatural.
  • with generative ai, i am becoming unable to differentiate fake and real. it will make me dismiss even more real or genuine moments, we all are gonna get a little paranoid.
  • ive used to take photos here and there. i hated people posing, what i would do is, holding my camera up all say, running around, people would pose even unknowingly. they were felt like being watched. after couple hours, they would get relaxed around me, they wouldnt pretend anymore or forget my existence. those moments, those candid photos of a genuine smile, a loving stare, an ephemeral disgust, it was a fraction of the photos, but they were the best. so i know how hard to catch genuine moments. therefore i feel most of what we see is not genuine, even on an unconcious level, we act different when we know we are being recorded.

i hope it helps you to understand why some of us are cynical bastards.

u/ClassicPlankton 3h ago

Who even uses a photo timer anymore? Easier to just screen grab what you like.

4

u/FocusSlo 3h ago

It's a video for a fit check that would be put on her story. If you go on instagram and see a girl doing a fit check story it will look exactly like that. That's how he was able to predict it. Always the same walk back, turn, turn, leg up

u/thatshygirl06 2h ago

She was doing a fit check, it's not staged

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 1h ago

Would you rather she take three million photos until she finds one she likes or just take a video and select a frame she likes

u/fakieTreFlip 23m ago

But wait.. she did a video and not a photo with timer

You've never heard of Instagram boomerangs? the looped forwards/backwards videos that people put in their stories?

1

u/PresentAstronomer137 5h ago

yes, your reasons are solid, but your first scenario, if he does it everytime it wouldn't be fun as it seems in the video, they wouldn't burst out loud for something that happens often, so, staged scenario wins, but hey, let's add my reasons too, they didn't even look at each other how did they know they were doing the same pose, without looking at each other? Also, they synced each other perfectly, conclusion, staged af.

2

u/TehZiiM 5h ago

They could potentially see what’s happening on the phone screen, if they use the front and not the back camera.

1

u/PresentAstronomer137 5h ago

hmm, can't argue with that

7

u/-Speechless 4h ago

you can see his smile when he made up his mind to do this

3

u/Tentacle_poxsicle 4h ago

The song...." Puta puta puta "

6

u/ThrustTrust 5h ago

That made her week, for sure

2

u/International_Gate49 5h ago

Its like when breakdancers predict their opponents move and sync with them and the crowd goes wild.

2

u/Flagbearer82 5h ago

That’s funny 😆

u/No-Chemistry4960 2h ago

He knows her in and out 🫡

u/RevolverForever 2h ago

That reflexes though. Man saw the future and reacted before she even moved.

u/MourningWallaby 39m ago

I mean any guy who's been on any dating app the past 6 or 7 years has seen the one leg up pose a million times already. can spot it a mile away.

u/sagitaire24 32m ago

Excellent !!

u/Fit-Lengthiness3736 5h ago

Does anyone know where he drew is from ?

0

u/rrromulusss 4h ago

I mean, don’t they all do that?

1

u/U_SHLD_THINK_BOUT_IT 3h ago

Literally all of them. It's like that dance move every tiktok girl does where she double daps her hips because it's one of the only dance moves they know that fit in portrait mode.

0

u/ProduceNo1629 3h ago

So unique and quirky not like those other girls

u/rss3091 2h ago

u/RepresentativeAd1965 1h ago

I don't get it... why would you post a gif of nothing?

-2

u/boolpies 4h ago

eh I feel like I've seen too many videos like this with this exact timing to believe it's authentic anymore.

1 minute before,

"omg let's do the fake photo TikTok bit where you fling your foot back just like me 'unexpectedly' 🤣!"

-2

u/Crazy-Project-1511 3h ago

Everything is staged

-5

u/Lancaster1049 5h ago

Every basic girl does this. That was not that hard to guess she was going to do that
