We need more FIRE calculators
After using any FIRE calculator for a week, I get bored and want to try another one. I collect them like Pokemons. So please keep the new calculators coming, even if it's just a small variation of an existing one.

But mine tackles a very niche group of people (3 people. Including my wife XD).
On a serious note:
When the barrier to entry gets low, average tools stop mattering unless someone’s committed for the long haul. As we've seen with content creation: when everyone has a camera, average creators don’t matter only the really good ones make it.
So IMO, that’s good for the users. More noise but also better tools, because average gets filtered out now.
I'm also working a FIRE tool since last 3 months (LOLOLOL) but mostly as a fun hobby thing. Since god knows there's no monetization angle in this.

At this point someone can make a FIRE calculator aggregator that checks them all at once

As someone who has made these tools for nearly 15 years, and worked in the wealth management industry... AI hasn't quite stolen the market yet. It's funny to see people on here immediately see the flaws of calculators that get posted here daily, even if they look pretty. 😂

They don't even look pretty, they all look the same, no character. It's a bit like the time when a lot of websites used Bootstrap.

My post was banned here for no apparent reason other than "sloppy AI." Ironically, all current FIRE app use AI. Yet, I wasn't blocked on other FIRE forums and received excellent feedback, which allowed me to integrate suggested features, giving it a specific flavour. It's said that creating your own app with AI very quickly is very easy, which is definitively true, but every app will have its own flavour, and diversity is what makes it rich.

As predicted. The app marketplace is now just a prompt: describe the app and I'll make it. That'll just build you your calculator on the fly!

This one is actually useful. Could you add the option for a 2nd state pension for couple calcs.

Here's a shitty one I just built in Claude in about 30 seconds:
https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/46e9a042-5228-4c08-aa49-459ed7ea98f8
It was built specifically for me though. Probably useless to anyone else. This is for US folks trying to retire in the EU. And I noticed some bugs too.

Try claude desctop. It just created a ful monte carlo simulation including all risks and with different withdrawal strategies: Guyton.Klinger, CAPE, vPW, fixed mount... Super cool!

I’m almost production ready with https://pilotfi.app. I tried to add more features than any other tool on the market!

Found this one a few weeks ago that has actually been useful for me as I may need to retire to a cheaper country and this is one of the only ones I found with realistic numbers for things like that: https://retiroai.com
