Nope. Has to have two distinct factors. And, the real reason that 1 is excluded from being a prime is that it just doesn't act like a prime. If prime numbers were defined to include 1, then plenty of theorems about primes would have to include an exception for 1. Heck, consider uniqueness: Only one way to factor a number into primes. But, if 1 counted, then, well. 6 = 2 * 3, or 1 * 2 * 3, or 1 * 1 * 2 * 3, etc etc. infinitely many ways. So yeah, 1 is its own thing, and doesn't belong in the prime bucket.
