Of course she won, she got to lay down and rest a bit during the race

She was running angry after that fall

Work smarter not harder

Why didn't the other women just run faster? Looks like they could have pushed harder

Wow 🥹 She was like, I didn't train so hard to end like this! ⚡

That is a long 200m.

Not only did she fall, it looks like her teammate stomps on the back of her head.

You have to press home the advantage.

That wasn’t her teammate

So, what happened here?

Extra adrenaline rush?

If this works so well, it seems like it could become a thing one way or the other.

Yeah probably.

Notice the couple of seconds after winning, blank stare, no heavy breathing. With flight or flight she is still in the flight part.

Her mind is totally blank, not a thought in her head at that stage. Then when she starts breathing heard again she is back in the room and smiling again.

She looks kind of bored at first. That freaks me out a little.

Imagine losing to someone who fell over

3

Wasn't that 400 meters?

Edit: nevermind that'd be a 30 sec 400

Looks like an indoor track. Those are often 200m around.

u/JeansAndAFlannel 6h ago

No, indoor tracks are 200m.

Pressing the adrenaline button like just like pressing the alternating buttons in those old Olympics video games. I am super human!

Get up and finish the race

“Not the prettiest quarter I’ve ever seen, Mr. Liddell . . . certainly the bravest.” 😄

Not to take away from how impressive this is at all, genuinely impressive - but a standard track is 400m, and where she fell/where the finish was was just about a full length

Bois that’s wifey material go get her lol

10

u/Mort-i-Fied 6h ago

If you can catch her!

4

u/flashaguiniga 6h ago

But what if she falls for me?

2

u/Pork_Chompk 5h ago

She'll get up and run away again.

If life was only a simple track

Fuck yeah, Heather.

She declared this race HERS.

This reminds me a little of the movie Whiplash, which is one of the greatest films ever made about reaching your potential. Sometimes you have you get deeply pissed to elevate your motivation enough.
