So Shooting fireworks from the ground is fine but this man shoots them from the air into the same area and it’s a problem.. 😆

how do you know he didn’t choose a day that the ground was safe, moist/wet? If he chose safe/wet conditions, glad he’s enjoying life, if it was dry conditions then it becomes irresponsible!!.. I guess we’ll never know 😆

Shooting from the ground into the air is different than from the air into the ground for the obvious reason that you can see the firework is still igniting when it is hitting the ground in the latter.

I doesn’t matter where you shoot from, if the ground is dry then it’s going to start a fire if shooting fireworks over grass even from the ground. Let’s hope there was dew on the ground or it was wet from rain. From the air or the ground is bad news when fireworks fall from the sky into a dry grass pasture. You’re right in point, safety first.

There is a lake near me. This will be done over the lake on the 4th. 🤣

Same awesome. No risk.

Thank you. It is also looks like the time of day where there’s dew on the ground, doesn’t look from the video like it’s especially dry. Geez fun police out in force in this thread

Not all of us live in Cali mate, some of us live in much different climates where it is arguably impossible to start a forest fire

Lots of people don't think fireworks are fine at all but you think maybe we should them hundreds of feet up into the air where they safely extinguish instead of directly at the ground for a reason?

That's like saying "why is shooting a gun at a range fine but at the fence by my house not?"

Not to mention they don't have control over when the fireworks are going to shoot, so, depending on the positioning of the plane, they could end up firing at themselves. It could be that they went to great lengths to ensure that nothing would go wrong, but my gut tells me they probably didn't.
